I just tried to disassemble my Emag and forgot to turn off the air to the gun. Needless to say it ended badly. I'm now on airgun.com ordering a new on/off pin to replace the one i just sheared in half and hoping it gets here in time to practice saturday. :tard:

wow, sounds like that must have been interesting. i wonce had some air left in my reg and when i pulled the valve off, the on/off went went flying, scared the crap out of me, luckily i found mine. what happened to yours, did you lose it or dammage it?

As the body and valve pulled away from the sear, it started to go full auto for a few shots and then the body and barrel shot off the front as a single unit with air pouring out of my power tube. after I turned off my ASA and looked at my valve body, I saw that the on/off pin had broken in half.

Probably broke in half with one part in the valve, and the other somewhere in the gun. Should teach you right... never tech a gun while still pressureized.

It also happened to me once. I was in my local playing field and it popped right under my eye. Seriously! It missed my sight for half an inch or so!!! Believe it or not, I found the pin, reassembled it and it's still working, months latter. Anyway, be carefull...
