My friend has a viewloader evo2 on his automag but he's thinking about getting a Halo hopper. Do you guys think that it would even really make that much of a difference on a gun that shoots six bps??? I don't really think so, thanks in advance for the info.\

Yes
I seldom shoot fast and keep a Pulse - the tension in the ball stack keeps balls from bouncing when I move. It also is more positive feeding, so should help prevent breaks

The egg does rely on gravity to feed but once the balls are in the stack, they don't bounce around too much. For someone who doesn't shoot at high rates of fire, the egg is an inexpensive option. I like my Halo for high rates of fire plus its ability to feed balls while tilted at a sharp angle. I have found that Halos are harder on batteries but they auto shut down after a bit of inactivity for battery conservation. This is a nice feature for the tourny scene but can be a hassle if you are hidding in the woods for long periods of time. Halos can feed one or two shots at a much higher rate than an egg due to the ball stack being spring loaded. The egg always relys on gravity to feed the balls so its response time is going to be slower.
The egg is more than adequate for any gun up to about 13bps. The Halo can feed more consistently up to high 20's depending on the board installed.
