well its been 3 years since ive played and a bunch of co workers have been dying for me to go play , soooooo i reach under the bed and brush off the cob webs and dust off my gun lol .......its a 68 with a hyperframe .......... BUT one problem i got it aired up and HISSSSSS out the barrel area , now when i bought this guy 3 years ago i never got to use it , so im discovering all this now ...........i been reading about the Sear and the on/off being short or too long ..........BUT tell ya the truth i have no clue ..............here are som pics , the sear doesnt look as bad as ive seen , neither does the bolt ....the only thing fishy is the on/off switch it has a loose fit gap , where the metal washers are , its very loose it doesnt seem right ..........http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c153/ricanked/gun4.jpg http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c153/ricanked/gun3.jpg http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c153/ricanked/gun2.jpg http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c153/ricanked/GUN1.jpg well any help id really appreciate , ID really like to actually use my gun lol ,

From the pics it appears that you have the level 10 and is probably where the leak is comng from.

Hopefully you have the extra carriers and can tune it up. Read through the lvl 10 threads and get familiar with it. It's really not hard at all.

Looks like a ULT on/off.
The space is where the shims go.
If the gun has been sitting that long, take the valve apart and replace all the orings and the reg seat.

That definately looks like the lvl 10 bolt and the red springs is from the lvl 10. The easiest way to tell is slide the bolt off and look at the power tube tip. The lvl 10 is hex and the lvl 7 has a notch where you could use a coin to remove it.

I use mine with the stock board and haven't had any problems.
Is yours just semi?
How many bps?

If it is you might want to upgrade if you like different modes.
Mine has semi, burst and ramping.
Works awesome.

I like mine. It had the 20bps board in it, but I swapped it with a mini morlock. In semi I can't really notice much difference. I do have modes now but they are pretty useless as I only use semi when playing. This weekend will be the 1st time playing w/ the new board so we'll see how it goes.

Overall I've been pretty happy w/ the HF. At the time I wanted a higher rof but didn't have the $$ for emag lowers and a new rail so I went the other route.

I would suggest a few upgrades that will make them a lot better to shoot. Luke's blade trigger and a lighter switch.

Depends...
Some guys don't have any some stack it up with shims.
That's how you tune the ult.
I have 3 in my mech mag.
I use the hyper frame on/off with my hyper.

You have a L10 Bolt & ULT on/off. To tune the ULT add shims 1 at a time until it goes full auto. Remove the last shim, then its tuned. With the leak use the next smallest carrier that dosen't leak for the board check out Robnix's thread: http://www.automags.org/forums/showthread.php?t=215757 The T-board give you a lot of fire modes.
