Ok, now the mag is complete. My step dad made this drop for me, it fits pretty well, when there is about 1/2 a hopper full of paint the gun is balanced perfectly. The best thing is i got it for free. :) Free stuff is good.

oh ya, it IS missing a screw, i had to recess the hole a bit to get the qd and gauge to clear it. They JUST make it. Its soooo close when i screw that tank on. I noticed that my PE 47/3000 is incredibly hard to screw in and unscrew, is this because of the cheapo duckbill actionvillage gave me?

The allmunimum is real nice, looks like something that fell out of a Stealth jet or something. Its nice and thick, real strong stuff, yet its real light. Man it just fits with this stuff. The drop gives the gun a whole new feel.

mmk all better.

Thanks again Shartley!

Gecko, unless my mag has been snooping around then no it wasn't.. i don't know matt. This is a popular package tho, the ceramic and same foregrip n stuff, so you probably saw another clone. Mine is original now though, i have my drop forward.

Now that you have that done try and go for something a bit longer mabe something that runs down under your gas thru and has adjustable holes, I know it sounds hard but if you put in 2 more holes evenly spaced you could adjust the position and you might like a shorter gun the tank still seems to stick out pretty far though. Other than that it's a really nice looking drop I would take one.

Check out the drop I made for my minimag, sorry I have to give you a link, but I have had no luck trying to post a picture.

that looks good bogger.

I would get a bigger drop but i like this one a lot, i didn't want to have to go under the foregrip, too much of a pain. The tank is small enough so that it fits nicely with the small drop. I'm happy with it. :)

Those are some great drop forwards. Nice work! Here is your second one.

You like as much tank out the back as me :) If you are comfortable with that then don't make a bigger drop. The craze for huge drops often just makes it hard to shoulder and sight along the gun. Very few of the top players use big drops or much of a drop at all because they realise how imprortant a good hold on the gun is.

*Edited to make the image slightly smaller. I hope you do not mind*

Thanks for the compliments guys. I have limited access to a Bridgeport mill after hours at work. This was made on a completely manual mill and a little lathe work, the piece started as a chunk of round bar. The front and back are still rounded, only the sides are flat. I like the one you made rhetor22, it looks very clean, and I agree about not wanting to run too far forward.

Actually me and my step dad made a drop forward for my gun. We took a piece of metal drilled the holes and taped them. I would say its a 5" to a 6" drop. I'll try to get pics so i can show u. I need to shine it up or paint it black. Otherwise it looks great and it was easy and cheap to make. See step dads are people too.

WOW! SWEET DROP BOGGERMAN!!!
rhetor22, nice one also! Reminds me of a Flatline stock drop, just bigger.

ENDO!
