Animal Paintball was the company we all went with, on getting the newly designed AGD/AO Jerseys done. There were at least 45+ people that ordered, so LETS SEE THOSE JERSEYS!

Mine and TunaMan's:

Thanks Again for everyone that helped get this off the ground. Couldn't have done it without all of your support. Overall, I think they came out really good. Still think I should have saved my Jersey order for last, as some o the AO Jerseys soon to follow mine are really really sweet!

.

I'm gonna say this again, cause people still don't know the deal after repeated mentioning.

ANIMAL is finishing up all the originally Pre-Ordered AO Jerseys; shouldn't be more than a month. After they are done, they are going to open up general ordering of the AO Jerseys to the Public. However, the price will go back up to their normal fee of $65 and up per Jersey, instead of the group rate we had going of $45 per.

I received my jersey.
I have to say I am not happy with it at all.
I havent contacted Animal but I'm going to tomorrow.
Its exactly as I ordered except the AGD Lion logo is at my waste.
Stupidest thing I've ever seen. Why didnt they put it at the top of the jersey ?
It will be completely covered by my pods.
If they refuse to fix it I have to say I wouldnt buy from them again.

Well the image they sent me was 1.5" x 2.0 " .
They are telling me that I approved where the logo is, and it will be $20.00 to fix it.
I told them about the size of the image they sent me.
Mongo asked me to send it to him. I sent him a Microsoft Photo Editor attachment. No response, Waited a while and asked him about it. Said he didnt get it. Sent the attachment again. No response. Sent another email. No response now after several days.

I just think its not very good business when you send someone a very small image and then
when the logo is just stupid bad out of place, blame it on the customer approving it.
The jersey has Animal Paintball logos all over it that there was no way I could see in the tiny image they sent me, and I never approved those logos either. They dont bother me, but its the same nonsense I am being handed with the AGD Lion logo being below my waist.

So far as it stands now, I would never buy from Animal Paintball again.

Im not defending Animal Paintball, but having been in the "custom goods" industry for the better parts of a decade, I can explain some of what this situation sounds like:

1) The image you approved was 1.5" x 2.0" because they couldnt send you a 10x12" version at 300 dpi to approve. Its just too big. You likely were only approving the actual image itself. Not its size. But had they put the 1.5" x 2.0" logo in the same spot, would you be complaining? I think so. So its size has nothing to do with your gripe. Only its location, which is the same location as most others.

2) The lion logo is in the same place on others jerseys. It only appears odd on your jersey because you chose not to have your name, nickname, or numbers printed. Had you wanted the logo in a different spot since you didnt have name/nickname/nubmers printed, you should have said so. I assume you didnt say so, otherwise youd have a legitimate gripe. It sounds like you ASSUMED they would just move it for you.

3) You dont get to approve or disapprove the Animal logos, they are on there becuase they created the garment. Every Animal jersey Ive seen has them. Im sure you could pay extra to not have them on there, but by default they are part of the jersey because Animal created the garment. CSG does the exact same thing. You would have had to ask for them not to be on there, a "custom" request, and pay the additional cost to have them removed.

Ive dealt with this issue many times. Some responsibility lies with the customer needing to know what they are getting. Its not 100% on the manufacturer. And since he is only asking for $20 to replace/reprint a $45 jersey, it sounds like Animal is "splitting the difference" with you.

Mmm....
well they got it in the right spot here :

http://www.automags.org/forums/showpost.php?p=2398342&postcount=25

Funny how his doesnt have any lettering but they got his right.
The one I received is a pretty stupid looking shirt.
There really isnt any excuse for the logo being so low. No excuse at all.
They couldnt have quality checked it before it shipped.
If they did then that makes it even worse.

Splitting the difference when its their blatantly obvious mistake isnt splitting the difference at all. They dont respond to emails now. The shirt will be their negative advertising.

Just making sure people in here know what kind of stuff might show up if they buy from them. I have a few more forums to post it on.
The shirt is for the world to see their handy work.

Did you approve the image they sent you and if not did you ask them to change it? Did you ask them to place the image higher up? Just wondering. Could it be that Badger1099 maybe designed his so the logo was higher up since he knew he wouldn't be using numbers or names? Maybe he will chime in, I dunno.

Maybe you should ask that guy who got it right if he specifically asked for the Lion logo to be put there. If he did, and you didnt(which you obviously didnt ask for it higher, you ASSUMED it would be), then you are the only one at fault.

If he didnt ask for it there, and Animal did it automatically, then e-mail that to Mondo and use it to back up your position.

Otherwise, you look like the jack-hole. :nono:

I feel really bad for posting my response to these acqusations, but I really feel I must since this person posting the complaints is biased.

The bottom line is, that we sent you a proof, with a text description, stating to proof each and everything on this jersey.

I can not blame my designer for something that was approved. You see when my designers make mistakes, it comes out of their paychecks. And I do not see that a mistake was made on his part.

I wish we could of come to some reasonable agreement, but at this time, it does not seem that we will be agreeing on anything.

Also, this claim about sending youa 1 inch proof. I dont even know what to say about that. Maybe it was your computer settings or something, but the idea that we would send an image that size is rediculous. Maybe they were thumbnails that were required to click on or something. But I did go to my designers computer, pulled up his sent file, and found the proof that he sent you. It was regular size and no where near 1 inch.

Again, when we make a mistake, I will gladly eat the cost, but I can not do that when no mistake was made.

Sorry

Well, in all fairness, my jersey I received was different than my approved proof, but I love it all the same so I'm not looking to have it replaced or complain. So I can see how other people's jerseys may have had a minor mixup - but like mine just fine! ;)

I got my jersey and found the colors to be vibrant, designs crisp and accurate, and quality nice. It's a very nice light Jersey and the underarm ventilation is a lifesaver. Een with the slight mixup in design logos on my jersey I wouldn't hesitate to send buisiness your way again. I will get pics back up when Behomoth find his camera.

Thanx for being so understanding and for the nice words. I do apologize about the mistake, my guys are good, but still human, so errors can be made from time to time. And if we make a mistake, then we will gladly repair it at our cost without hesitation.

Thnx again and enjoi

I got my jersey and other than me being a dummy and ordering one size too small it is perfect. It still fits fine...just not as big and baggy as is the style these days.

This is the second jersey I ordered from Animal and they are both perfect.

My team designed, ordered, and received our jerseys in record time and they have all been perfect so far.

The AO jersey that I received is perfect. I appreciate all the hard work that Psycho and everyone who had anything to do with it did to make this deal happen.

Mondo runs a good business and did an admirable job of dealing with some serious pissing and moaning from the one sour grape that found something wrong with something that he approved.

One tip....get a bigger monitor.

My jersey came out great. I felt kinda bad though, because I had the colors changed twice and the logos moved around a few times. The designers and Mondo were all more than professional in all correspondence with me. The designers did not seem curt or even frustrated when I kept asking that small changes be made. he jersey is frickin beautiful. It looks just as I had hoped and expected that it would, the same as in the final rendering of the image they sent. I had a great experience in dealing with Animal. I will post up pics of my jersey when I go home next (in a couple weeks).

This pic:
http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m132/OneFeatherr/Guns%20and%20Gear/jake-2.jpg

is not the same design as the one above. Looks like badger1099 stayed within the original 2 patterns and chose the V shaped version. Unlike your GoingHome- you have a customized version of the 2 original choices. Why don't you let us See what was sent to you to approve?

Believe me if I could have posted the image I would have done it a month ago. Photobucket wont upload it.
I can email it.
If you want me to, I can reformat it so you can post it. It would require you to email it to me. I will email the reformatted file back to you so that you could post it if that is of any help.

I have not gotten into this debate yet; and will try to stay out of it, despite my opinions thus far. I merely offer this service a means of helping to resolve the situation and bring about understanding of your situation. I do this so that I do not have to read about this crud. PM me if you want me to change the image format. I WILL NOT ALTER THE IMAGE IN ANY WAY, NOR WILL I POST IT FOR YOU. I will merely email the image back with the only change being the format. If you send it to me, please LMK what format you would like it in when emailed back to you.

It is extremely unwise to make the claim you just did until you have seen the image that he approved. It may have been a production error; you do not know. These errors do happen. Give him time to find a means of adequately making his case before you crawl down his throat. I have repeatedly written extremely long retorts to certain posters in this thread, but had to stop myself until I am able to see everything for myself.

Sorry if you mis-understood, I just want to see what going home was sent for approval as I'm sure others are curious as well. This would either make or break his case.
The fact that I see other AO'rs approval pics in this thread and the conitinuous post of GH's jersey and not his approval pic is strange. I do hope he sends you the file for you to reformat for him so he can post it up.

I see what you did there... you fooled me with trickery :D I understand now, sorry for the misunderstanding, I thought I read something that was not actually there. I think it was in another response. My bad :hail:

I sent the image Animal sent to me to an outside source today.
The image size, as it was sent to me, was 1285 x 2079 pixels.
Thats why Photobucket wouldnt upload it.
The file would only open on my PC with a program I have never used before, MS Photo Editor. (I usually use MS Fax viewer or Photoshop Elements). The gigantinormous image was being automatically resized by MS Photo Editor to 10 percent, which I didnt know, having never used the program.

So Animal sent me a gigantinormous file that went to 10 percent
making it about 1.5" x 2.0" . So thats my fault somehow ?

And Mondo refuses address the inconsistant logo placement.
Messaged Badger and he said he never asked for his lion logo on the back to be placed at the top, Animal just did it :

http://automags.org/forums/showpost.php?p=2398342&postcount=25

But on mine, well you saw it, 12" from the top.
Mongo refuses to address the inconsistency of the logo placement.
I can see why, his designer made a glaring mistake. If he addresses it he would have to fix the mistake.

And I never even asked him why the lion logo is crooked.

Its just another quality Animal product I guess. Now I know, and you do too.

I sent the image Animal sent to me to an outside source today.
I am the outside source for anyone who wants to know. Upon examining and opening the file--which was entitled "VSTRIPE JERSEY" and sent to me via gmail from going_home-- I saw that it was in standard JPEG format, measuring 391Kb and 1285x2079 pixels in size. My program scaled it back to fit my monitor, at 29% scale. I was able to zoom in and see it at full size though. I did not resize or alter the image in any way. Before you guys ask... no I am not going to post it. I will leave it up to going_home as to whether or not he wants his image posted. Not much more I can say besides that (shrugs).

I really do not want to get in the middle of things, but Going-Home PM'ed me about how I how I got the AGD logo located. What I told him was that I did not remember asking Animal to put the logo at the top of the back. By saying this, it is still possible that requested them to do so. I do not remember, and unfortunatly I deleted the emails.

Peace Out everyone, I want everything to be cool because I am planning to have a Animal make me another custom "manufacture based" jersey this winter.

Sorry I haven't gotten this moving sooner. Been on Vacation from everything, down in South Carolina for the last 2 weeks.

I'll get in touch with Mondo of Animal this week. They're gonna put up a general ordering section for AO Jerseys, :D

Sorry
mondo

I order jerseys from Animal all the time(20+ this year so far) and the one jersey they made a mistake on they fixed it right away. They're a great company to work with.

Aighty, here's the deal. Talked with Mondo of Animal yesturday. Said there is still a couple of AO'ers who are on the original Pre-Order list, who have YET to contact them about getting their Jerseys made. Summertime, maybe they are away, or not on the computer, or what have you... We've decided to give them a bit more time to get their orders in.

In any case, starting OCTOBER 1st, there will be a general order page on the Animal website, for AO Jerseys.

Base Jerseys will start with the AO Honeycomb pattern, and two pre-made subsections will be the Swoosh and V-Stripe templates.

Got my finalized template today. I'm pretty excited! Only problem is I also paid for an extra pair of pants, but they discontinued my size. Can anybody recommend me a pair that goes with this jersey?
