Very short Chronicles this time.

I picked up my second tank from OA Paintball's Rosedale field today. Rob installed a new AGD Flatline regulator on it for me. Both of my Crossfire 68/4500 tanks are now equipped with Flatline regulators.

After putting on a 90 degree fitting and the male quick disconnect, I aired up the marker (this is my secondary, the y-gripped RT Pro with a Recon rail), then adjusted the Flatline's output all the way to 1200 psi.

Not getting very good response from the valve, so I shot her out, disconnected, and then added a shim to the ULT. It now effectively had 7 ULT shims (2 Lvl 10 & 3 ULT). That was a little better, but barely putting pressure on the trigger would cause a leak. I took her apart again and removed the Lvl 10 shim from the valve. That did the trick. She would rip really good strings like that. I turned the Flatline down to 1100 psi so that I could control the marker and was good to go. Time to head home for the day, because I am not playing, just getting things just right to hopefully play tomorrow.

My last intended upgrade for this marker is an 2007 Exile body. Just waiting for one to be available.

Now, here was the cool news from Rob. Two other players (one an Ion owner, the other a Tippmann owner) are ordering AGD markers. They've seen my markers in action, shot them a few times, and are tired of being on the other end of the MiniTac Pro and my y-gripped RT Pro. They each want one of their own. Two new AGD converts on the way. Woohoo!

Shot count for this marker is now 20,000

Great playing with you today - its a rare day when I see multiple Mags on the field (though you do see more of them at Bowie). Field 3 was a bear (having to dig out the other team from their hiding spots), but I think things went exceptionally well all day long.

Looking forward to playing with you again.

It was good seeing you out there and good games all day. That other team sure does love to dig in and make us come to them. I just finished posting a Chronicles for that day, Sunday the 22nd.
