So my messiah reg is toast and it seems that a rebuild kit is nowhere in sight. So I guess I'm buying a new reg for my pump cocker.

I've looked at a number of different types and I'm really stuck on what to get. I can always go over the top and get a palmers reg but that may be a tad overkill for a $250 pump.

Anyway my point is I would like your guys suggestions for what I should get.

What what what?

Why do you need a rebuild kit? Is it not just o-rings? And a stab is overkill?

My AA Messiah reg creeps really really bad. Unfortunately no its not just o-rings from what I understand I would need to change the pin and seat and other such things. However, I have found some spare parts for sale so I may be able to rebuild it. As far as a stab being overkill, yeah paying 100 bucks for a reg to go on a pump I payed 250 for is a slight overkill. Especially being a pump I don't need super fast recharge just good consistency.

Make sure you use the mag reg pin when using a mag seat. Otherwise you'll get pressure output flucuations. Using mag parts isnt optimum for performance, but for a pump or mech it will work fine. DO NOT use mag seats on any AA primary air system, the seat is too soft, and will not work well at all.

Shane-O has all the answers,

And Groovy... I may have some reg seats coming sometime, so dont throw away that reg if you do replace it, we may be able to rebuild it sometime in the near future.

Like i said, i can bring a loaner to SI if you like.

email me directly and we can discuss some options

Also WGP stock regs are pretty good and pretty cheap.
