I never heard about using electric cars/cycles in dragracing, but the performance of electric vehicles is amazing. It's not uncommon for them to reach 0-60 in just over 3 seconds. Pretty damn quick.

They had some show on the Discovery Channel about some guys who were making a mail truck into a drag racer.

I think it ended up hitting about 120MPH, but the motors produced so much torque it ripped the drivetrain apart.

they now have sports cars that run purely on ethanol AND left over mcdonalds grease that were specifically designed for there type of fuel. that pull well over 400 horsepower

my buddies have been doing that for a very long time, they do it in the off season to keep their reaction times up. they even go as far to make exact replicas of their actual drag car.. its sweet :D

I have about two dozen of the batteries they are using sitting on my deck right now at work. we are working with them on a project, the cells are truly amazing, the current they can source is fin nominal.

I was watching the discovery channel

and they had a car that ran on compressed air and was pretty efficient....

could you imagine you get to play all day and get a full tank when you play paintball..... there would be no excuse not to play paintball
