If you remove the metal cover which fits over the foregrip handle attached to the ASA does the gun look like an old RT underneath? What are the other differences between the 2 guns? Thanks

I don't know what you mean by "metal cover". But the basic difference between the two is that the RT pro is compatible with almost anything, while the original RT, dude to the fact that it had an air-thru rail and fieldstrip screw, is not compatible with much without modification.

The old RT has a smaller valve that fits inside the body tube well most of it. and has no side input on the valve, it is a air-thru rail and fieldstrip screw most gun have a hard line from front forgrip back to rail gas goes inthe rail and in the valve through the field strip screw.
The new RT valve can fit on any gun from minimag to emag, it same size as standard valve.
THe old RT are a good gun, It that upgrade are not as common, no upgrade for the body that i know of. and trigger frame upgrages have to be made for old RT. Standard frames and hyperframes can be made to fit with milling of the wings and inlarging the back hole.
