Supposedly it's the Jordan of guitar hero 3. It's a bonus song, so that's good. It looks harder than the custom dragonforce songs that are out now.

They just announced that metallica is going to be in GH3 too. One is the song. I'm psyched for this game. I've heard it's pretty awesome.

Ok, I have never played the game or seen any one else play it. I know it comes with a little guitar looking thing, but does it actualy have strings or is it all fretting?

4 buttons on the neck acting as the fred and then a pick type button on the body acting as your pick.

*edit* i'd be more impressed if he did it perfect. he missed a bunch at the end.

I forget when it's gonna be released, September or October I think. Supposedly the new guitar it comes with is a lot nicer. I'm looking forward to that. I'm pretty sure it's got raining blood by slayer as well. That'll be sweet.

And the controller has 5 fret buttons. There is a strum bar to simulate strumming the strings. So you can hit it on the upstrum or downstrum.

I heard of someone who rigged the controller so they didn't have to use the pick. All they did was hit the frets. Wonder how someone could do that lol. I'm so used to doing both I think it would screw me up.

ummm yeah ... i'm still working on mastering the harder songs on medium ... there's no reason moving on until its mastered!!!!

i've seen the "PRO" gamers play Jordan on expert ... behind their head ... not looking ETC ... that's just crazy ...

fun friggin game though ...

Dont forget to get rock gods of the 80's GH vers 2.5 if you will. Nothing to unlock somg wise but songs like mental health and AC/DC bring back nost. However the difficulty level is whacked.

meaning i can play the other two versions of guitar hero 4-5 starts on hard at around 96-98% including jordan, cowboys from hell and shadows fall.

I can rock expert on GH 2.5

Yeah, Rock the 80s is pretty easy compared to guitar hero 2. I don't know if it was worth buying though. 50 bucks for 30 songs. Kind of a rip off.

There are hundreds of custom songs available online for free too. It's not that difficult to burn your own disc of custom songs.

I have never even heard of this song and I had to listen to it two times. Its great. I think that I will go and buy the CD. I just love instrumental rock.

Oh, and there is NO way that I could even try to play GH.

I would like to know where and how.

Go check out the software section of the forums at http://www.scorehero.com You have to register to have access to the custom song forum. But the software section should show you how to get the custom songs to work.

I'll go over the basic process. You'll need a few free programs available at the website to do all this. You rip your guitar hero cd to your computer, use a program called guitar hero explorer to kind of, 'unpack' the cd to allow you to replace the songs. Then you find the custom note charts online and import them into guitar hero, then import the mp3 and sync the notes up with the song. Syncing the notes to the song is kind of pain because your mp3 may be slightly different then the authors mp3. You can change the titles of the songs too (you could make that buckethead song display the correct song name in the menu for example).

Once you replace all the songs you want, you rebuild the cd and burn it. You need to have some way of modding your ps2 to get the new dvd to work. I use a boot disc (cost about 15 bucks online) and a few pieces of tape to allow me to open the ps2 cover without it turning off.

Here (http://www.scorehero.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5925) is a link to the guide that I learned from. I downloaded the note chart for that buckethead song, but I don't have the MP3. I'll have to put it on my next burn.

Just an update on the Buckethead thing. I did not buy one CD, I bought 4. Gonna give him a good chance to impress me

my 3 friends that play guitar say all of the songs are easier on a real guitar as well.
