40bps SL-74

Found this vid, Ego sl-74 with reloaderb doing 40bps. I can't hear the vid...I'm at work and this PC has no sound. But still, impressive. The readout on the frame says 40bps, can anyone analyze the vid and see if it hold true?

ide like to see a goldwave, and know the fps that is being used as well as the consistency of thsoe shots.

oh, and what they did to that halo/reloader to get it at 40

I like them to shoot it where we don't hear the impact of the paint.
As for the lcd reading...didn't WAS board use to do the same thing on timmies; show a higher bps than it was really shooting at?

in the pbnation thread Ugg. the 40bps is a peak ROF. Meaning for a split second it was shooting 40bps. I believe they said the sustained ROF was around 32BPS.

They hooked 2, 9V batteries together in series. Giving the loader 18v to work off of. higher voltage= highspeed. something else they arent divulging would have had to have been done to the loader to keep it from melting I suspect

Yeah... the bottom number is the record peak ROF it recorded (mech bounce) and the top number is the recent ROF. when he was done it said 11 (oops 14).

I had a reloader b2 that was modded up the wazzu... before it caught on fire a few months ago :headbang: (I was just standing before a game at the start and the guy next to me said, your hopper is smoking! LMAO). It would shoot about 22-24 bps and it sounded about like that. Any ego can do that with the right hopper.

Well from that page it says completely standard gun and software with eyes on, but with the addition of a Ti Zick Rammer shaft.

Had a look on pbn and other ppl are saying they can get 32-34bps (dunno if sustained or peak) just by changing the settings on their boards.

Yeah about right... looking at it I say it’s about 24-25, but no where near 40.

There are 4 spaces that didn’t peak as high as the others so I’m not going to count that... which could bring it up to 28ish. Wow.

That’s as fast as I think I have ever seen/heard something shoot... that is if it was with paint. In which case... that’s really impressive :eek:

my friend is into remote control cars and he takes motors from them to mod his hoppers along with other things. he can get a halo up to 40 but its life is very short. he has lots of car parts that he can use so the hopper lasting 2 months is nothing to him. if you have the know how then you can do anything.

While this is all really cool... just how many of us would go on to a field playing with a gun shooting 28bps? #1, I dont think many of us can afford it, and #2 I dont think many of our opponents would like it too much either.

I take everything Jack Wood says with a grain of salt. Ever since that thread on PBN where he insisted the Ego shot "flatter" than other markers and didn't "lob" paint. He said it had to do with the path that the air took inside the marker before it got to the ball. Of course, the entire explaination is a "trade secret" so he couldn't tell us how it worked. :rofl:
