Tomatoes!!!!!!!

Pulled some green cherry tomatoes off the vine this weekend, sized them, loaded them up in my pgp pistol, and remarkably they shot like a dream!

They flew as straight and far as any good paint I have ever shot, I need to grow bigger plants and try and walk a hopper!!!

Didn't have my camera, but next time I'll get pics or video.

Have fun,

-cAyle

I know how that is I work on a farm here in Michigan and I found that 68 cal Grapes work best for me. LOL I prefer them over Tomatoes but both work fine

tomatoes itch when you get hit with them on skin

we used to squirt cherry tomatoes on each others back when we were kids....itched like hell

I'm amazed they didn't break in the marker itself, but that's very cool. And delicious!

that makes you wonder though, since there are seamless airsoft "paintballs" why arent there 68 caliber?

Glickman, because the density required for the process to work would exceed the weight limit set for a paintball. Besides that, you can't make one brittle enough to be effective. This is all assuming the same process is used. Perhaps someone will develop something better.

What is the weight limit?

What is the weight limit?

Correct me if I'm wrong but it's something between 6g and 8g.

That reminds me of the field I used to work at. We tired shooting anything that would fit down the barrel of one of the rental guns (dirt caps that come on tanks, marbles, broken squeegees, ball bearings, super balls, ketchup packets, and other various items we found laying around). Some of them left some nice welts.

slightly off topic, ever hit an apple with a golf club? it explodes into applesauce immediately on contact.

i'm going to try and shoot grapes thru my A-5 now. atleast I finally found a use for it :p

I mean the problem hear is getting tomatoes consistantly .68 calibur....Now maby you could use the same process they use to make bonsi kittens to get perfectly round .68 cal tomatoes.

You guys are crazy, finding alternative ammunition for paintball markers...

I've been picking cherries for two months now, and found that although they are not round enough to feed reliably, they do shoot! :shooting:
