I really like this marker and the color so I posted a pic of it.

That's a good color, but who's marker is it? I would be negligent not to notice what looks to be a 4500 flatline on there. :)

AGD House marker.

Is that Parker 5K working pressure line I see on there? :)

That's funny because everyone who sees this marker asks me about the hose. It is just a regular 11" braided hose. with shrink wrap, the little bumps are rubberbands that I put on just for the look. Just something different.

Not rubberbands, Elf Traps! Or 'air-direction-deflectors' to keep the air from back-flowing into the tank. Or 'air-speed-bumps' to keep too much air out of the valve. Rubberbands sounds too BE!

Ahh, ok. Parker makes this 5000 PSI working pressure plastic hosing, it looks just like that. Without the bumps :)

I did the same thing to my S/S line except without the rubberbands. The guy I got the E-mag from didn't have anything covering the line and it left some ugly scratches on the batter pack.

I'm really hoping once the extreme is released and the feeding frensy dies down a little, AGD or AGDE(whoever is in charge of this project) will offer a C+C upgrade from the standard E-mag. Then I can send my E-mag back, get the upgrade and have the battery pack repolished and anno'd. It would be as good as new!

Of course this is a long term plan, I'm HOPING for the summer, but I won't hold my breath :)

So is that what my classic would look like if I got the E-mag conversion? And does anyone know if it is still avaliable??

Thats the shade of blue I want my emag to be. Will that shade be offered for an extreme body? :)

um i am not to sure about this but dont you have to have the emag/rt rail to use the emag sear unless they made new ones and if i got the conversion could i have it converted with my rail it being a benchmark.

Speedballbanks - its an AGD house marker thats why it has the normal mag rail, its unique so thats why its staying at AGD...i think.

AGDsaul how did you get the Automag classic mainbody to fit on an E-mag rail???

SoupRman
02-11-2002, 05:42 PM
that is a normal automag rail.

up what does everyone else think i thought this mag was awesome i want to get my gun converted to an e-mag but with my rail.

GallagherAtWar

so how did you make the line look like that? u put rubberband with shrink wrap and then melted it?

Rahman
02-11-2002, 08:35 PM
Your right Souprman this is a normal Automag rail along with an Automag mainbody but AGD has stated that the E-mag runs on a different rail & main body this picture proves that it could also be ran on old school rails & bodies(although I must admit I never heard them say that they couldn't run on classic rails &bodies) ,now I don't want to take credibility away from AGD this mainbody or rail could very well be modified I just want to know if I could do the same to my marker..:)

Yeah I would be VERY interested if I could convert my Minimag to be an Emag.

speedballbanks
06-01-2002, 09:40 PM
well see the thing is you can convert it but you can't keep your rail and i want to keep my rail and my body maybe there is a way i can mill out the e-mag sear so it will work on my rail because i want to keep my rail and body and get the e-mag battery pack and e-mag trigger frame and then my gun would be killer and everyone on these boards would probably rather do that if they dislike the emag rail and body as much as me.

Uhh that doesnt look like an RT rail to me. Looks like a Classic w/ some modifications.

speedballbanks
06-01-2002, 09:55 PM
yeah i know that but they only do the conversion for regular people (not agd people) with the e-mag rail.

just let it die, you probably shouldn't have resurrected it in the first place.

screw that this is the place where we are supposed to get information in the first place and no one that might no something isn't able to help me at the moment so when they get back they can help me. so i will up it and when i get some help bam i got answers then the thread dies.

It was already answered. The rail had to be milled a lot. A mount for the battery had to be added where the forgrip goes, and it had to be hollowed out for the wires to run from the battery to the grip.

I'm not sure if they are using a regular emag sear (think threaded pin) in which case the rail would have had to be modified to accept the sear or if they're using a special custom classic style sear (big fat pin with no threads) which of couse would have to have been made especially for this marker. In short, it's a lot like the RT converted Emags. It can be done, but it's not worth AGD's time to do them, so they will remain in very limited quantites, and not available to the public.

If you have a mill or are very skilled with a dremel you could probably get an AM rail to work with an emag gripframe and battery.
