My mag is leaking when the trigger is released, and only occasionally seals. When the trigger is held down, It doesn't leak...

I tried shortening the trigger rod, but it didn't help

Bolt stick maybe? Mine did something similar. Try getting it to leak and then put your finger in the feed neck and see if you can push back the bolt. If it clicks into place and stops the leak, then thats the problem.

replace your on/off bottom o-ring. If you want to check if it's the problem, replace it with the on/off top o-ring. If when you do that, no leaks occur when you aren't pulling the trigger, that's the problem. But don't leave that o-ring there, you'll just get the lawn-sprinkler.

buy a parts kit from here you'll need some of the items sooner or later.

you can watch this to get an idea of what you need to replace based on what your marker is doing..

If it doesn't leak when you hold the trigger in, then the problem is powertube related. Forget about the on-off for now.

It does sound like you are getting bolt stick. Replace the bolt spring first. Then replace the powertube oring and try again.

If it's leaking down the barrel, then it's a powertube o-ring (or bolt spring, but less likely (unless the spring is lower than the top of the bolt)).
