I'm just posting to see if theres many AO members from ottawa and surrounding area that would be down for a mag day? i know tons of oldschoolers around here that would jump at the idea.

i know 3 field owners that love me because i pimp the mag so much and get people to buy them:P

since i got mine a year ago iv inspired 9 people to get one


There are a few around, I'm in Belleville but play around Ottawa with CanCon along with MT84 when he's not running the PS outdoor field, maybe try to hook up with us on one of our club days.

Paint Storm outdoors is near Perkins Qc it's just a little outside of Gantineau off hwy50, about half an hour from Ottawa.
I'll have to see what the wife says but I'll give a firm possible and if she lets me I'll try to convince her to dust off her X-mag. ;)

If you're like me, I know some people that own Mags but are not on this forum, we need to pass the word around. I'd like to see at least 20 AOer's there.

Its looking good for sunday, have no clue what kind of numbers will be showing up, but the weather seems to be holding out for us, chilli 11 deg, with NO RAIN!

Hi Kev.
I'll have two of them with me myself.
I'm just teasing Bob because all his semis failed at Castle.
5 minutes to go before the start horn, I was forced to loan him mine.
Not a hardship for me. I planned to wield the "mighty stick".

My 'Mag worked flawlessly, racking up 70 eliminations.
Lucky thing, for the last 30 minutes it was the only gun defending Wall 2's upper ramp.
It took out a lot of guys, with a bit of help from Wall 3.

Deb and I both had issues with the paint double feeding and barrel breaks at fall castle, I checked the paint and it had a thick seam which would either let the halo or warp push it past the detents or if in the right position feed correctly but not want to shoot out of the barrel. On the other hand most of it shot fine. I wonder if XO made it?

68 'Mag w/ a Level 10, Viewloader Revy & Freak .693.
2&1/2 cases - Not one ball broke in the barrel.

She shot straight & true all day.
Bob was impressed with the performance.

legal too funny with the police
how do i get there or where do i find the info for it?
may be i will bring my friend and both my mags they work very good stock pretty much too
do they supply gear there to bye i mean and co2 or air?

its paintstorm perkins, in quebec thier website is www.paintstorm.ca
there is direction on the site. its about 20 min out of downtown ottawa
20$ to play for the day, that includes as many co2 and air fills as you need
they do have rental equipment, but im not sure of pricing and availability
45-80$ cases of paint, i buy the 50$ V1 its a good value for the quality
bring your friends and your guns, mags are always good stock :)

Well had a fun time today at paint Storm (Ref) and yes it rained most of the day...

Hope to see as many of you Magger there... weather seem to be holding for tomorow, cloudy over cast but cross your fingers...

I'll be bringing 2 Mags with me, the X-Mag has not arrived yet.

Got home an hour ago, gears cleaned, clothes washed etc..., now I'm sipping a beer before bed.
I had a good time played a few games, reffed a few renters (how did that happen) :confused:, worked on a few mags and came home with 2 more than I left with. ;) I had hoped a few people would have come to Liam McGuires' for food and libations after.
Time to go I need some sleep before I head to work.

shoot, sounds like it was a good time to start of the real thing, but too bad for me im in ontario not quebec.
i really got excited and even called my friend up after i got my gear ready and double checked and teted.
well when my buddy came by we realiaed it was in quebec, we were a bit bummed but went got some paint and air and kept the spirit going.
we went to a park and tested the gear out ther real was.
wasted a whole 1000 rds of pain but it was awsom just being out shooting after a year, especially with my 2 mags i just got
