Sure... Nah, i just have to study at least 10 CAD drawings that I have not made and show the differences in the way each one is made. I really hate this class.

man you should really pay attention it will make things easier on you if you want to ever make your own stuff (or get a great Job). See some of us have never went to school for it and have had to learn the hard way :D

The first link does have the slug dwg.
The second link contains nothing but dead links.

you cant get much better than that, that slug body drawing can give you tons of stuff man start freezin off layers and stuff and there ya go you got just about everything that you need

Yeah, tomorrow I am going to see how much Mastercam can import from the file. Might be able to machine me a slug :dance:

So I spent some time reviewing and evaluating the slugs and all I can say is wow! Thats a pretty complex piece to machine. Even if you have a CNC lathe, your still looking at hours of programming to complete all the operations! I'm thinking that $250 is a steal for a premade slug.
