I'm paying less for this with the board and internals than people are selling used Airwalks for.

My wife is suggesting a dark red to offset the black valve, feedneck, and trigger. I'm thinking it would look very nice that way.

The trigger frame doesnt look right with the karta rail, in my humble opinion.
Have you thought about seeing what it looks like with some other style rails on it ?

I agree. I'm thinking about cutting off the back of the frame once I get all the holes drilled.

Good call. The whole frame isn't bad, just that deal on the back.

what did you end up doing to make it fit?

So you're getting a woman masked onto the body?

I picked up some very fine precision files and removed some of each ridge. I'm going to get some 300-1200 grit sandpaper to finish, then polish with aluminum polish and some dremel buffing wheels.

My next project will most likely be based around a Triton frame.

When you get a chance, do you think you could take a few close up pictures of the body where you did the filing. Just need something to work off of for when my body arrives.

I'll get some this weekend when I have the pieces in to finish the mod. It's pretty easy to see what to file off though, the feedneck screws in and you can eyeball it. I slowly removed metal until there was no more light shining through underneath the feedneck.

Awesome, thanks Rob.

Another inquiry... Is polishing it off before an anodizing necessary? When my body comes in it will be raw and I do plan on getting it anodized shortly after.

As it is, no. Colin does a fantastic job polishing the body and rail. It's almost nickel like in the finish. I'm just polishing the area that I filed down to get rid of the filing marks and smooth it out. It's hidden, but I'll know that the scuffing is there.
