I am preparing my guns for Fall Castle and was cleaning a Mag.
I dry fired it and I have terrible recharge. I'm pretty sure that I found the problem, but am not sure how to correct it.

I installed a new velocity adjuster and I don't think that it gasses up enough.
I have two of these but they are of different lengths.
Are they not both for standard valves?

Can I shim / space the inside to compensate for the extra length?

The longer one is for a in-line regulator. In that case you can cut it down to work with your valve..

The velocity adjuster only adjusts velocity. If the valve is shooting at velocity then your velocity adjuster is fine. Any recharge issues would be related to a restriction in the valve. Give it a good cleaning and replace the regulator seat oring. Make sure the trigger rod isn't making contact with the back of the valve when the trigger is fully forward with the gun aired up. Replace the bolt spring.
