I have a brand new benchmark rail installed on my gun. It is the only non AGD part on the thing and it won't fire. CF frame, classic valve with classic on/ off, twist lock body.

I checked for:

Bolt stick, sear gaps, tank full, all the usual stuff.

The gun acts like the bolt is sticking. The on off pin seems to be too short. The body sits in the rail a little unevenly. It doesn't touch the either side of the rail and doesn't wobble. It seems to be riding high in the rail. That is about all I can figure it would be. Anyone have a fix for this problem?

Should I just junk the rail?

There are two options for you.

1. Drill out the hole where the body pim sits in the rail.

2. File the pim off a bit so that it doesn't bottom out in the rail hole. This is the easiest one.

The pim is the threaded piece on the body below the breach that the frame screw goes into.

Yeah, junk the rail.
I'll pm you my address. :argh:

Try adjusting the trigger rod length.
How much play is there between the trigger and rod?

Thanks that sounds like it will work.
