I have 3 tanks available to use with my Classic (Level 7) Mag.

1. MacDev Conquest 45/4500 adjustable

2. Pure Energy 45/4500 preset.

3. Pure Energy 72/3000 preset.

I think from what I've been trying to catch up on here, that the MacDev would be the tank of choice for an RT (which should be on the way today) but that I could use any of them, right?

Thanks!

Mike

As long as they're all high pressure output (800+), they'll all work

The MacDev will be the lightest, most consistent, fastest recharge, but you'll hardly need all that for a L7 classic.

Sell the MD, use the other tanks, and use the money for mag ups :)

Are you using the tanks on an A.I.R. valve or an RT valve? An RT can benefit from a higher pressure like 900-1100psi, but like Mr. (6k posts  ) behemoth says, it will all work fine at 800psi.

Actually the intent is to upgrade to a Level 10 bolt first, then over the winter ULE body and X-valve, so I think I'll keep the MD tank.

How does one know what the preset is? Can't see anything on the tanks that suggests an output setting and I don't have access to air without driving 45 miles.

Thanks folks, you're the best!
