View Full Version : X-mag + ego feedneck?

A lot of cocker guys are milling down the OD of their pre 04 cockers with non adjustable feednecks and putting ego clamping feednecks on. Anybody tried this with an x-mag vertical module? Seems like it would work unless it is not thick enough, and would save some of the drama of using a gear puller and re-pressing it in... plus it would be removable...

Got a link for this? I'd like to see what they are doing to the cockers you are talking about.

Or this is a trinity T-lock feedneck for trilogies that has clamps on both sides - don't even need to mill down the OD on a stock cocker neck:

Very cool. I have an old Xmag feedneck here. I'll try this out.
I'm thinking a could throw it on the lathe, take the ribs off the stock feedneck, and cut off as much as I can of the height. Ought to work.
PM me, I have some news on the ACE for you.

I ordered a custom lathe today. It'll be here in a few weeks, I'll try it.
