I can see the 23" coming in handy for a milsim type "sniper rifle look", but WOW. Any longer and I can see someone pole vaulting if they happen to fall forward.

Wow i cant imagine playing speedball with that

Why ? it's for people that want one & don't know anything about barrell length or physics

Cool, but pointless.

i can definitely see this being used for milsim snipers to keep the weight down.

i wonder what it costs. isnt carbon fiber gettin more expensive, thats a lot of fiber for one barrel.

Carbon fiber, graphite, and other similar materials all seem to be increasing in cost. The supply of the carbon material used to fabricate them is in a short supply. Supposedly, one of the factors has been an increase in the usage of such materials in the aerospace industry, as well as the increased volume of new aircraft being produced.

Oooo, I may have to get one, I have a CP 21" but this would be even better :D!

I suspect this may be needed to be long enough to fit under the X-7 shrouds, and some of the other MilSim add ons form other manyfacturers so you can have a rifle lengthed marker, and not use a sub machine gun style setup.

You can litterally use your gun as a walking stick if you put this barrel on. :tard:

hehehe... should slap an apex adapter on the end of it.... just for extra length... and because all that added barrel wont slow the ball down enough

Can see it now... Chrony with a 23" barrel and a apex tip, then switch to 12" barrel when they play = nasty bleeders

"barrel" compensation

I used a 21" barrel once. It sucked cause it was too air ineficcient and also made for inconsistent velocity.... :(

There is a point to longer barrels for scenario players / people who play in the woods. With a longer barrel you can sit further back into the brush and still have the end of the barrel free from any blockages like leaves, twigs etc.

I like a longer barrel when playing on an inflatable field as well as it lets you “play” the bunker better. 16-18 as a back player is enough for me though. 23 would be a little much for anything other than woods play IMHO.

'The 23" Stiffi sniper barrel features the proprietary MicroJeweled bore, giving you explosive speed and optimum accuracy.'

Oh, that's why longer barrels shoot farther. "Explosive speed." My 300fps is faster than your 300fps!

Your 300fps may be faster then my 300fps....but my 23inch is bigger then yours!

I like longer barrels(16-18") the best, I like having the extra length to aim down/balance out the front of the gun, plus you can play in the brush more effectivly. 23" i can only see for milsim shroud purposes.
