I bought a used RT and the owner could not tell me which it was so I was wondering how I could identify it.

Post up a pic.
RT classic has the gas thru the rail and hard line.
RT pro has a normal valve hook up.

The old RT if I recall had a banjo bolt (the bolt that holds the valve to the body) so that air fed into the valve (or something like that) it also used the twistlock barrel. The body was mini mag like with holes for decoration at the barrel end. The valve said automag RT or something like that.

The RT Pro either has an RT PRO valve or an X valve, uses an airline like the earlier mags and takes cocker barrels (at least the newer ones do).

Here are a couple pics. It does have a twist lock barrel. According to your descriptions it sounds like I have a classic RT instead of an RT-Pro.

That there is an RT. See how the airline goes into the rail rather than directly to the valve? That's the big giveaway.

Ah, I see. Thanks to all of you for helping me clear that up. At least now I can figure out what I can put on it and what won't fit before ordering it.

The big giveaway is the body and valve. The valve fits inside the body unlike any other mag, and the body has the unique RT shape.
