Hey everyone, I have been out of the sport for 5 years and am trying to finish a cocker project. I finally have all the parts, and I need info on how to set the pressures.

Now, the foregrip is just that, a gas through. Its not a reg. I have a hp preset, so I am assuming that will not work? I have a reg kicking around I can try out.

Anyway, with my hp tank, what pressure does the inline reg need to be set at. after I get that set, how do I set the lpr? The marker has a tickler reg up front, and is going to be fired with an eclipse eblade 1 frame. Thanks guys

P.S.

Is there a cocker forum?

inline reg: I think for 2000+ cockers about 350psi is right. I used to set my internal velocity adj.(IVG) to the mid point and then set my inline reg over a chrono. That compensates for any volume chambers, fancy valves, ect. Then I used my IVG for every chrono after that.

lpr: turn it down until you see it struggle to recock, then back up a little.

cockers really aren't as difficult as most people think.

thanks for the help guys, this is everything i needed.

nolifeleft- im not afraid of it being too difficult, i just dont know the pressures to set it at. now that i know that, the rest is easy. now i need a barb for the stupid lpr :shooting:

so i am going to have to replace that gas through with an hpr? once my armageddon comes back from hydro, i could put the gas through back on and just out put 350 from the tank right?

If your armageddon is an LP adjustable, you cp gas thru will be fine. I wouldn't set the tank to anything over 400 psi.

What i usually do with the lpr is set it all the way down to when it won't actuate anymore than keep in turning in 1/4 turn increments til it finally actuates and recocks. Then I give it another 1/4 after that to make sure it will fully recock.

I remember you were selling this a while back? I remember searching and searching again when i was looking for another cocker since you were local but never found your thread again.

Good luck to you

Devil: that comment wasn't targeted at you. actually, anyone that builds a cocker themselves is cool with me.

thanks guys

pete- after persuasion from my friends, i am going to keep the gun and finish it. the armageddon is adjustable from 0-1200psi. ill just keep it down around 350-400 like you said. i lke that gas through, i dont want to get rid of it.

nolifeleft- no harm done my friend.
