WHY, WHY ,WHY are all the really good scenarios a thousand miles away? http://www.automags.org/ubb/smile.gif

After seeing the write-ups in APG about last years D-Day, I've been chomping at the bit to go to a big game. Oh, what a time you guys will have, while I must keep plodding along at home and work,,,sigh...dreaming of cases of paint fired up.......sneaking into the German lines..........taking out bunkers left and right...........ACH DU LIBER!

http://www.automags.org/ubb/smile.gif sorry, still a bit hung over from many, many toasts yesterday.

Army - its simple - take off a few days from protecting the nation. Fly to Kansas City so we can leave by 5pm Friday. I can take you down and you can sleep on the motel floor. Get ready to fly out late Sunday night.

Easy! Just put your mind into it!

Oh sure, just tell my LT not to worry about those 3-4 days of AWOL, after all, I'm battling Germans? http://www.automags.org/ubb/smile.gif

Try to tell my wife I need $500 to fly to OK to play a game! Yeah, that'll work http://www.automags.org/ubb/smile.gif

See - you already checked to see the ticket price - try Vanguard - they are usually cheap...

And you LT will understand. Just tell him its for - um - Mil Sim training...and tell your wife that your great aunt you never talk about died and you need to go to the wake...

Army, Buddy,

as teh comercials say , your AGD forces needs you :-)

Plus, I am drivine the 1000miles(well 1600KM) to be there, and as webby says, he will drivce you there, year right, I have a feeling he will be shoffered there bye a crazy canadian.

So come on all, let got take some germans out( no offence to any one its a game eh) and do i have to use a mag to be inthe AGD mag platoon. If so I better pack the E for the ride .

See you all there .

Army, you need to show up, just tell then what up in the east, and come play.

If your coming through colorado on your way to OK then drop me a line, I would be willing to tag along. However I do not really think denver is totally on the route to OK.

I may be going to the 24 hour game coming up in Kansas if i can get hte weekend off.

Do you know how old this thread is?
I'm going to try to make it but it depends on the date, because I'm going down to philmont scout camp for I think its two weeks and it might be a little too close in time to d-day.. but I'm hoping for it.
