1/8" NPT is one of the few taps that Lowe's and Home Depot carry and cost about seven bucks.

make sure you use the right bit with the tap, the package should tell you if not google it and you should find a chart that lists the right bit.

i know dewalt sells the 1/8npt tap and correct sized drill bit as a kit for 18$

I work at a major aircraft manufacturer, I just need the tap size. I can get the taps and drill at work

micro or macroline? macroline and SS hose are 1/8 npt. micro? :confused:

Whoops.... you definitely said microline. 1/8 NPT is for macroline fittings. So I totally told you the wrong thing. (But... one look at the tap and you would have figured that out. It's twice the size of a micro fitting.)

For microline fittings, you want a 10-32 machine tap. Like this.
