Problem with a mini mag...... help plz

Ok here it the problem, my teamate has a micromag. When he fires it the bolt stick out into the body and air leaks out of the power tube...... we replaced every o ring in the gun, streched the spring, all that happy crap and it still does it. He think's it's the valve and is ordering another tonight? We put his regulator onto my gun and it shot fine so we think its a problem in the second/forward part of the assembly.

Any information about this problem would be helpfull

it could be due to the powertube spacer, buy a new spacer kit. that SHOULD fix the problem. other wise contact the manufacture.

Also if it has the ReTro valve, and if he is using a screw in tank, make sure not to screw the tank in to slowly or it will do that. An adjustable tank is always a great buy for a ReTro.

Hi SkEIL,

Do what Ariestsheft suggested. Get a Powertube spacer kit from AGD and install a spacer one size longer than the one currently in the valve. That should fix the problem. Also, make sure the bolt spring is longer than the tip of the bolt. If it's the same height or shorter, replace it with one from a parts kit. Go to the AGD online store to find everything you need.

Hey Army, I heard you say something to the effect "the retro valve needs a burst of air to work." I have a question. So If I had a screw in tank and a retro valve, it wouldn't work unless the screw in was speedy? Thanks

Yes, or hold the trigger while you are screwing in the tank. This blocks the gas flow, then when you let it go, the gas will hit the seals hard.
