i had an idea for a set of grips for my emag, but i need some one to mill me some aluminum grips with kind of a picture frame recess to the middle of them (its not for a picture, though that may not be a bad idea) it would work for emag panels and any other aluminum panels. the tray part would need to be between nickle and dime deep and the screw holes would not be recessed in the tray. im sure they could just be milled from some aluminum emag grips but i would like to know if any one could do this kind of work

i do some hobby art work with colored polymer clay. its a sort of inlay kind of work, but the clay is fairly tough with some elasticity. i think with an aluminum backing like the grips i described they would be replaceable detailed inserts ie. a bunch of spirals, skulls etc. (kind of like plastic material) in the aluminum, i dont know how they would hold up to paintball abuse but theyre fairly easy to make and this would enable me to change my grips when ever i felt like it without actually changing them i could make a new set of inserts for the aluminum frames and even add contours

Oviousley I would pay for your services, and if it works out the way i think it will and you like em i would do a set for you for free.

Please excuse the crudeness of the "beta" version. i also did the most basic design i knew (spirals) to test it out, this one does not have an aluminum backing i reenforced the material though. even if you cant do milling you can help by letting me know what you think about similar inserts on a metal panel. working on a little more appealing design right now.

Keep posting your panels. With some of the new custom bodies coming out, you might have a good match. For a mag with a custom body and anno, custom grips are slick.
