Hey guys,
I'm looking for a good, light flashlight to mount on my tac-one (not too expensive). Any recommendations?

Also, I have noticed a few pictures of those who have a light mounted under the barrel, which is ideally where I would like to have mine. I don't see any mounts there, so how is this possible?

Thanks!

There is a barrel mounted, tri-rail adapter from UMS

Pretty sweet. I think they are still a couple weeks from being avail but there are similar products out there as well.

<<< UMS forum thread link >>> (http://www.undergroundmodshop.com/forums/vBulletin/showthread.php?t=12013)

They make some really good stuff. Tac lights also available there as well.

Edit: Looks like they are avail but hes having issues with the webstore, just email him.

Looking at the picture below, it looks like a flashlight can be mounted on the area of the body under the barrel (not directly to the barrel).

Any idea how I can get something like this?

**UPDATE**: Nevermind, it looks like the one above has a different rail which allows the mounting.

mini mag-light plus a one inch scope ring. clamp the front in the ring and twist the back to turn it on and off... that was my cheap and easy solution.

also, you can do like above with a recon rail from TMS. (doublepost....)

Great product since you can turn any marker with a barrel into a tac marker in about 30 sec.

I have a surefire G3 (which is a polymer body light) that puts out a whopping 105 lumens. It only costs $70. It’s a great light, with a lot of power to disorient someone.
Well worth the money and a lot cheaper than their other models that go well into the $400 price range.

I did the same thing with my classic. It works great. There are some really nice flashlights out there, but I only play night games about once a year.... if that. So it doesn't make sense to me to spend $50 when you could just spend $5 on a maglight and $5 on some scope rings.

And besides.... isn't it fun to have a mag-light on your mag? :p

Any light on a Mag is a Maglite by proxy :p

For shakes and giggles once I wanted to see exactly how many scopes I could put on my Classic 'Mag, I figured you might appreciate it...the flashlight mount is just a shotgun flashlight mount, and the flashlight is one of the newer LED ones. Maybe $15 all together...

He means the picatinny/weaver (mounting) rails not the Mag rail.

I found this place on e-bay (http://stores.ebay.com/ULTIMATEARMS-SPORTING-SUPERSTORE_FLASHLIGHTS-LASERS_W0QQcolZ4QQdirZ1QQftidZ2QQtZkm) while looking for inexpensive light for my Hi-Point 9mm carbine.
