View Full Version : AGD Flatline + Matrix?

Well, I've decided to switch from my 20oz to an air system. I have a chance to buy a Flatline 68/3k tank for my mostly Stock Matrix (No bolt kit yet). Aproximatley how many shots will I get off the Flatline without the bolt kit and how much with? Do you think I should buy it?

Well, From what I hear its more around 800-900 shots off a 68/4.5k tank, 600 shots off a 68/3k tank. 1400 shots off a 68/4.5k with bolt kit, 1000 off 68/3k with bolt kit...

the 400-600 shots is when runnign LP.

Well, I plan running it around 120 psi

I believe the flatline does not perform well at that low of an output pressure. Correct if I am wrong someone but I think I remember reading this somewhere.

if i know Tom and AGD as well as i think, flatlines should be fine at ne pressure and work just the same... but i have no idea how many shots a matrix would get.....

Since the Flatline IS an adjustable tank, it should perform well under almost any pressure I think.

NOOO...HORRBLE IDEA!....A matrix is a gas-hog especially with out the trinity mod...I recommend a 68/4500 or an 88/4500....GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR DECISION. :) :)

It has a front reg (KAPP Rhino Reg).

Trust me I tell you this you do not want a 3000 flatline with yourMatrix...my friend has a 88/4500 dynaflow and he only gets like 800 shots (it even has the trinity reg.) SWEEET *** gun but a 68/3000 just will not do it for ya.

Matrixes are complete gas hogs. Get a 114/4500!

Yeah but then its soo bulky and heav...I think a 88/4500 would do the trick. :)

yeah... that could hold for a few games... I usually conserve ammo so I don't shoot as much in games.

WOW you guys sure hate it when people spread misinformation about the mag.

The stock matrix gets about 600 shots from 68/3000
the bolt kit gets about 800 shots

The Trinity mod is a regulator that adjusts bolt movement
pressure ONLY. it has nothing to do with efficiency

You need about 180psi for 280fps

If someone is getting only only 800 shots from an 88/4500
he is either not getting real 4500 fills or has a seriously
ill marker. Just like our beloved mags replace all the
orings.

Ok steve have you actually ever shot a matix or are you just reading it?

Because what Diablo says it BS. There is no way you can get that many shots.

Welp guys, I made my decision. Instead of getting a Flatline, a friend is selling me his 68/3k MaxFlow, 12v Revolution, and 12" Javelin .687 barrel for $300.00. Thanks for all the comments and help! Oh, and here's a picture of yours truly with his Matrix. (Note about the money: the only reason I am filthy rich right now [$350.00] is because my 16th Birthday was yesterday)
