Here's a few pics of my SFL. It was very nice to shoot electonic until it STOPPED working after only 100 shots. (I hadn't even been hit or anything and was shooting then all of a sudden it stopped go figure. Anyways Ive shot about 900 through it since then in manual. Gonna have to send it in to AGD now. The price you pay for having the best.....It is very light compared to a normal emag in my opinion. And wow the manual is awesome even compared to my RT PRO w/intelliframe which will be on ebay in 10 minutes.

I'll add some more in a half hour. Gonna go eat right now. I'm gonna try to take some in better light because the ones I took kinda look like garbage even though I got a pretty good Digital Camera.

Did you charge the battery before playing ?

and Check your magnets.

Yes I checked the battery, it works on my friends standard E-mag. I tried playing with the magnets to no avail. The thing isn't even powering on. It is getting no power to the circuit board so I have no clue what's wrong.

Here's a few more pics if anyone wants to see a specific part let me know.

That looks green but you say its blue? Anyway, did you adjust your trigger at all? If the magnet in the trigger itself is too close to the HES than it wont power on.

Take the body off of the grip frame and make sure the wires are still connected. Check your wires running in to board as well. Something may have not been tightened down and came loose during play.

Nice gun by the way....

Thx. Got that black tubing around the steel-braided hose at RadioShack. Gotta protect the gun's finish :)....

The gun is nice. So is the welt.

If you don't mind a bit of advice, try and get some sun. You are looking pretty pale there... :D

Thinks to check if your electronics aren't working.

-Battery charge

-Positive lead screw

-Position of HES magnet

-PCB screw

-Positive wire solder joint going into the board

-Check to see if Board Transistor blew

Battery charge is pretty self explanatory, test it on another E-Mag or with a multi-meter.

Remove the mainbody from the frame by unscrewing the front grip frame screw, the sear axle pin and the rear field strip screw. At the front of the grip frame you'll see the red positive wire clamped down with a nut and on the bottom side the screw where the battery contacts it. Make sure that is tightened and that the plastic spacer is on the bottom and top side of the frame.

Unplug the three wire HES connector from the board, or unscrew the magnet so it is moved as far away as possible from the frame. If it's a magnet/HES problem, the board should boot up.

With the left grip panel off at the bottom of the board will be one silver screw. Make sure that screw is tight.

Unscrew the back grip and you'll see the red wire running from the channel in the top of the frame straight down and then soldered into the board. Make sure the wire didn't break away from the solder joint.

This happened to me in less than a few thousand cycles on my E-Mag. The transistory at the top of the board that the one solenoid wire is soldered to popped sending a constant 18V to the solenoid. It all of a sudden happend in a rapid string and then I noticed the grip panel getting warm. All is well now with a new board. :) About the only problem AGD has with the E-Mag board. Here's a pic of what my blown transistor looked like here (http://www.automags.org/~BlackVCG/E_Mag/Crispy_E.JPG)

whats the deal with the burnt transistors? gotta love the smell. but. it shouldnt happen.. is it just parts? or is it an inherient design flaw that needs to be there? i cant see any other reason for it. there are WAY to many capable people out there that would jump to help AGD fix the problem.

Hysperion,

I would check that transistor again. I remember looking at that particular chip and it appeared that there was a "wet" spot on the chip itself, similar to the pic that black gave. There wasn't the charred look though.

Yes everyone, I got to hold his SFL! There in fact WAS light shining down from heaven and the angel choir making that high note noise whenever I got close to it :)

Wow, that looks really nice but it really sucks that your e-mode isn't working right now. What is the yellow thing on your battery pack?

One step better Animal, I got to shoot at his SFL! Only time I got him was shooting him in his pack, though! Hopefully next time we don't have to break up the Mag users on the team!

Very sharp blue (yes, it really is blue) gun!
