I was able to get this body milled yesterday and i did the polishing today. I only have the prototype body machined. Cougar20th is working on getting the CAD for the matching rail done. The body is kind of blinding polished..its makes it hard to see in the pictures. I have attached a picture of the CAD files so you guys can see what it will look like on the rail. bolted it on my emag tonight and did some full auto firing! Works great.

These bodies are made from my slugs..the same slugs that have been proven on the Ripper bodies.

Once i get a rail done i will have a pre order thread in the dealers forum. I should be able to have a rail done in aprox 2 weeks. At the moment i am waiting on material to make them.

The prototype body is forsale. The machining is A+ with no flaws! Shoot me a PM and Humor me on a price!

I think this one will sell better than the last one did.
I like the fact you can use either standard or reverse valves.

:D

Xmagterror
11-23-2007, 07:26 PM
Yes i agree. I like this new design better than the ripper and being able to run a reverse valve is always good.

Looks like it will be, as the body shown is on an emag rail .... the cad drawing is also done to emag/rt scale.

Im the artist. Xmagterrors the machinest. And a damn good one. The rail is designed as a emag rail. The batt pack are i left the same as the current body. So it should work fine.

Those are the first pics ive seen of the body finished so you guys got to see it before I did. Grrrrrrr. Anyway the finished looks far better than I could have ever imagined.

Xmagterror
11-23-2007, 10:20 PM
You will have the option of buying the body seperate or with a rail. The rails will be Emag style. Trying to figure out when i will be able to have a batch of these done....cant give a firm answer yet. I hope to have them done just in time for christmas. It all depends on how much time i have to work on them.

Glad everyone liked the new design! Cougar20th did a great job on the design work!

Anyone notice the last XT body on Ebay ?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=120185817587&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=002

I dont care what anyone says I liked them.
Only drawback I could see was using a reverse valve was not an option.

Really happy everyone likes the design.

Body specs are the same as all the other Slug designs.

Angel feed thread, Angel Detent threads (Dual Detents), Autococker barrel thread.

The last ripper that i milled is up on ebay.....no plans to make any more.

cant wait to get these done and ready to ship.

How 'bout Typhon?

Front to back fades are common. How about top to bottom fades?

I was thinking a aqua/purple acidwash would look good on this. Something thats not to contrasting

I agree that body looks awesome in real live alum. the cad looked good, but the milled body is way sweeter... i just may have to add to my mag body collection.

Yeah, a wash would bring out those ribs very nicely.

I wouldn't want my custom mag body to be completely hidden by the bright glare of polished aluminum!

I think the chord and ripper bodies look good in solid colors, but this looks a little more like anno canvas to me.

Maybe we will get to compare on MOTM.

1. How far back is the body milled back from the front of the front of the rail?
2. Can we talk about small custom mods when ordering this body?

Thanks

Answers:
1) the cut is approx 1.25" or to the begining of the barrel threads. On a slug the threads are into the body a good amount.

2) contact xmt about changes. I dont know the anwser. he'll get intouch with me if need be.

sorry for the delay
