Has anyone tried using a ntrile (or buma) o-ring in their power tube for CO2 use? I have a 90 durometer nitrile o-ring in mine and have not had a single problem leaking/freezing up, even with straight co2 going downhill.

Is there any disadvantage to this?

Buna rings are cheaper (10x) and softer than urethane ones. There's nothing wrong with it, it'll just last a shorter time than its urethane counterpart.

The Buna orings work quite well in the powertube instead of the white urethane carrier orings. They are a bit softer and are generally more forgiving on the level 10 tuning. The only downside, is that they don't last as long. But heck, because they are so easy to tune, why not use them.
