First, Welcome to AO

Yes, the AutoMag is, most likely, the best engineered marker built. It is, essentially, a very high quality pressure regulator that happens to shoot paintballs. The RT valve (what you bought), uses the incomming tank pressure to push the trigger back to reset. This results in one of the highest rates of fire obtainable by a mechanical marker.

There are custom parts available from dealer members here, including performance upgrades, or to just make your marker look .....shhsexy.

Oh yeah, be ready for the "Didn't AGD go out of business?" questions at your local field. Not to mention the "Hey, cool Ion" ignorance

Is it a classic or pro?

edit: of course it's a good gun... it's a MAG! :shooting:

Check out all the threads on the level 10 bolt (aka lvl 10, lvl X).

If you have a level 10 bolt, you will want to tune it eventually. If you don't have one, you will want to know more about it.

Enjoy!

of all the mags ive owned my classic rt has always been my favorite. put 1200 psi into that bad boy and let her rip. might want to look into the flatline reg/tank if you dont have one yet.

MMMMMMMMMM old school RT goodness. Just wondering whats the number on the valve. Go here http://www.automags.org/forums/showthread.php?t=222342 and enter that Bad Boy in old school, single frames rock. :shooting:

Welcome to A.O. and the world of High Performance . At factory specs[700 to 800 psi in] it will shoot as fast as you can pull. There is a curve on the trig feel but when you get it you WILL Grin.

wow that's one slick classic rt. You should definitely get a adjustable hpa tank and push out as much psi as you can. Trigger bounce at 1200psi is fun :D

Oh and get a level 10 bolt if you don't already have one. After tuning my rt minimag it never chopped paint no matter how fast it bounced.
