The difference is that a blue collared tank is a low pressure output tank and the Red collared tank is ahigh output pressure tank.

Red = 850 PSI Output
Blue = 350 to 400 PSI Output

Hope this helps. "Outlaw5"

Red = 850 PSI Output

If your shooting a Mag you want this one.

However in the links you gave the one with the red bottle label (skull tank) has the blue collar on the reg, and is LP (not good for mags)

I actually was in Action village not too long ago and heard someone ask the clerk that question. The guy behind the counter said that there is no diffrence in material, regulators, blah blah....the only diffrence is the label on the bottle.

Crossfire is just cashing in a bit on agg and people who don't research products.

These two tanks are the same and both will serve a mag well.

They jad the new design for the bottles done months and months ago. 2 guys on PBN designed it. Other than that theres no diff between the old and new bottles. Red is HP and Blue is LP.

if you scroll down a bit they both say PRESET TO 850PSI, so they are both obviously high pressure..?

The only difference I can see is the red one is 10 bucks more than the other, Im putting a nice comfy tank cover on er so that matters not a bit to me.

Get one that says "High Pressure." Sometimes PBGear gets lazy, makes a new title and photo and copy-pastes the description whether it's accurate or not. Don't ever trust their descriptions, just get the product name and figure out what it does somewhere else.

both descriptions "say" high pressure so which one would you purchase?

first or second link.

Thanks

The one with the red collar, not the blue.

It seems they have corrected their description and they now say the red skull label is 450psi output

Make sure to look at the color of the regulator, and not the tank.

Red regulators are HP and the blue are LP.
