Seiously, the old skool class kinda becomes a joke in some cases. For example, goig homes mag imo isnt even remotly old skol aside from the PTP body. Come on....

I don't know, I mean it IS a micromag - which imo is oldschool, albeit modified with newer parts.

My RT has a newer gripframe and asa on it, but every other piece is from 1997 or older. Look at Jakemans, its clearly an old school mag, but has a Yframe. If every mag had to be unmodified (without newer parts and accesories) all we'd see is classic mags with benchmark frames and occational splash kits month in and month out. To me, the old skool class should exclude electros, pnuemags, and post 2k production mags. I say bring the sidearms, pumpmags, micromags, minimags, 68 classics, classic RT's. If the marker was released 2k or earlier(or buld with old parts), I think it should qualify - even if it has some new parts on it. Of course I don't make the rules, thats just how I'd see it.

I agree GH's is hardly oldschool. Xvalves aren't oldschool. Freaks... same thing. While I really do like SN's I had to go with what I feel is a pure interpretation of oldschool so I chose JLBoy's Sydarm, lol and it has a lazer sight... but I'm pretty sure we had lazers in the 90's right? Must say it was a tough choice between SN's RT and JL's syd. I really like the color combo of SN's but the RPG frame kinda had me thinkin it was a bit of a stretch for the class, but it still looks awesome on there. Goodluck!

toter - A micromag body does not make it oldschool. I consider yours still in the realm of oldschool simply because a frame and ASA doesnt change the basic gun (although your pushing it). If you threw an xvalve on their and stuff itd be different.

you guys are making me feel bad... im wondering if my stainless freak and intelliframe are not oldschool worthy :(

But I do agree about SN's triggerless rpg frame is pushing it, maybe because I am a bit jelous though ;)

Guys- as you can tell this months wasn't done the same as previous months.

Everybody that entered is a finalist. If you posted you wanted to be in a certain class that is where you were put.

Usually RRfireblade narrows the field down to the top ones and puts them in the appropriate category regardless of where the poster asks to be placed.

Decembers MOTM will hopefully be done the proper way.

Hope this helps clear up some confussion.

Oh I hear ya, that was just my take on it, everyone is entitled to an opinion.

I have more current pics with the trigger installed -proof below for ya Punkrex, I took the original pic as soon as I got it back from GBA and I couldn't find the trigger pin immediately.

This is how it sits now:

Very nice SN Toter, the anno is definitely a plus, the clincher for me is that old skool Armson Pro Series short barrel. Brings back memories of me playing right tape and being deaf for 30 minutes after a game. Those barrels were loud, lol.
