Any ideas on how to make a totally sleeper :ninja: pnue-mag whithout any reg or extra hoses showing?

A Classic RT with a Z grip. I would imagine with some work the reg can be hidden in the foregrip.

I can't think of a way to do it. You need someway for the air to get from the ASA into the grip or wherever you plan on hiding the LPR. I think the soon to be released G-Force frame is set up that way though.

Could be possible to mill the inside of the rail for the hose to go (like the wires do in the emag rail).
Also what about using the extra air ports in the classic RT rail? It was built to give other devices access to the air supply after all

I was thinking of hiding the reg in the agd bike grip and then you would be able to with some milling to make it look like you had just a gas through grip. I have seen a guy put the reg in an intelli but it had an extra macro hose going from the asa to the frame, but it was still noticeable enough that if you knew about pneu-mags you would know what was going on.

If you do that, how would you split the air line to go to the LPR and direct to the valve? Interesting idea though.

you could do what i did. i made a tee out of a elbow and use the lpr as a foregrip.

How do you have the air going into the grip for the actuator in that setup? Is it running through the rail?

no it run up the side of the lpr and 15* asa, along side the rail in the little grove, and then into my grip. you can see it but its out of the way.

Sleeper pneumags have been done plenty of times... they just take a lot of extra thinking, some extra work, and often some extra money.

I have a pneumag that's 99% sleeper. There's only one little hose visible.
http://www.rawbutter.com/images/paintball/p-mag1.JPG

I use a T fitting to reroute some of the air into the stabilizer LPR. The low pressure air is sent up into the 15* fitting where it comes out here and up into the rail.
http://www.rawbutter.com/images/paintball/DSC04450.JPG

I copied my idea from pneumagger, who has a similar setup, except he figured out a way to keep his hose completely hidden.
http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g45/jrm33/The%20Arsenal/IMG_1966.jpg

With some grip frames, you can actually fit a small LPR (like a tickler or microrock) inside... like an RPG vert frame...
http://img146.imageshack.us/img146/2820/marker005re2.jpg
You could get an LPR in there.

Then there's Bread's pneumag, which no longer exists in it's original form. He used an Airwalk frame, and it was completely internal (although I think pneumagger did it).

So yeah... there's tons of ways you could do it.

(All these pics came from this thread (http://www.automags.org/forums/showthread.php?t=222337&page=1&pp=30), btw.)

Mine is pretty close to a sleeper. A lot of people haven't noticed the LPR since I set it up.

I used a palmers Stab and tapped the top of the Vert ASA for the LPR barb so that the hose runs thru the rail.

I also have a Emaggo that is run using a Palmers Fatty with the Vert ASA tapped on the side since running the LPR hose thru the rail is impractical in the setup.

I am starting a project for a Pneumag with an Internal LPR in the grip frame for a 100% sleeper. so pictures will be coming soon.

i did the work with alittle help from rb211.. it wil be better than this one when i get my new v2 frame from jay...

This was what I was thinking, just sith the classic RT hrd line and use the gas through grip as a "shell" to hide the lpr

i love getting beswick emails
http://beswick.com/products/products.php?cid=6

now these might not be able to take 850psi or have enough flow......but there are possibilities!!!!!

OH OH OH OH or get the Centerflag Doolie (http://www.airsoldier.com:8080/cgi-bin/mivavm?Merchant2/merchant.mvc+Screen=PROD&Store_Code=AOS&Product_Code=CF-DOOLIE&Category_Code=REGULATORS) Gauge adapter (http://www.airsoldier.com:8080/cgi-bin/mivavm?Merchant2/merchant.mvc+Screen=PROD&Store_Code=AOS&Product_Code=NW-GAUGEADAPTER) for the Tank to Gun line....oh and a 420 SV reg or a New Designz Inline On/off w/purge (http://www.newdesignz.com/Misc_5.htm) so you dont wear out the threads, and have the Doolie go to the reg in the frame

and then you got yourself.............. a mess of hoses.....nm

If you do that, how would you split the air line to go to the LPR and direct to the valve? Interesting idea though.

the air through grip would still function, and you drill a hole through the vert adapter and then a slot in the rail for the microline

Sounds like a good idea and I'd love to see a photo of one like this. Besides a pressure gauge I can't think of any other good use for those ports.

Another simple method is some drop forwards like mine have multiple output ports depending on which side you want the air to come from - just hook on to one that isn't in use, should be a piece of cake.

Edit: 7 years out of paintball and I'm trying to catch up on this pnuemag thing and I haven't seen it come up in my reading yet, so sorry if this has already been covered elsewhere: Would performing the pnuemag conversion on my classic RT eliminate the reactive trigger feature? Not trying to hijack the thread...

Yes. The trigger pull force is no longer directly linked to the RT on/off instead you're actuating a 3-way valve.
I have not used a pneumag yet, but the trigger pull is less than an ULT

This has been done, and I just spent the last 15 minutes trying to find a picture of it... but no dice. Maybe if you start a new thread asking a question about this, you'll find the guy who did it.
