I was just wondering if any of you AO'ers would be going to the West point spring 2008 Scenario.

THE WEST POINT SPRING 08 "COMBAT CLASSIC": The Korean War

Date: April 11th, 12th, 13th with play on both Saturday and Sunday.

Location: Training areas on the grounds of the United States Military Academy at West Point. Play on the same grounds the cadets train on!

Prices: NEW THIS YEAR! We're lowering our registration this year to $40 pre reg WITH an option to buy the brand new, never before seen, West Point paintball team tshirts. Players who prereg will have the option to buy these sweet long tshirts for $20. All others will have to wait for the game where we will only have limited quantities available. Help us and help yourselves by pre registering! (Registration on the day of the game will be $50.)

Paint: We will use Premium and Combat .68 paint again this year, available at $65 and $70 a case. (Same prices as usual.)

Generals: What you've all been waiting for....
Mr. Eric Engler, of Engler Custom Paintball Guns, will be leading the North Korean forces in defense of their homeland. Expect to see some fancy AK's in use.

Leading the US/UN troops in this battle will be Paul "Vector or LT" DiNunno of Yankee Division! Yankee Division will be serving as him command staff and heavy hitters on the field.

(XO's will be chosen by their respective generals and announced at a later time.)

The West Point paintball team remains committed to providing an safe, fun, and challenging game on West Point's natural terrain. The cadets are excited to run the game and for a change of pace PLAY on the field with you. That's right, the cadets will be running as a small third entity for this game. Expect the unexpected when it comes to the cadets showing up on the field. Myself and Cadet Harris are going to write a lot of challenging missions. We know that the generals and command staff of this year's game are very experienced in scenarios and we really want to see them stretch their abilities on our missions.

Format of the game will remain the same as usual with flag stations being worth points at the end of every hour, but expect the missions this year to play a role in a larger story line that the generals will need to follow in order to be successful on the field! We've got some great ideas and can't wait to implement them!

We're working on bringing back old favorites and some new ideas for the game, to include:
Machine Guns (M249/M240B firing blanks on the field)
Lots of smoke, artillery simulators, grenade sims to provide realism to the battle.
Some great paintball Tanks including a Stryker replica that is AWESOME. (Same tank as Spring 07.)
A flyover and static display by Apache or Blackhawk helicopter.
Demonstration by the United States Military Academy Parachute Team.
Plus great prizes and fellowship! (We have to clear the bureaucratic red tape before we can absolutely promise any of the hardware listed above but rest assured that we're going to work our hardest. We've done it before so it's very likely to happen again!)

Thats all the info i found on it.
