usually newer models of rails from RPG and such are $90+, so you are out of luck there. but if you have a stock classic or RT Pro rail, you cant go wrong with going to luke at lukescustoms.com . either choose what he has on his site, or think up of a an idea and run it by him. cost isnt that much at all: $25 for ULE'ing a rail and whatever the cost is for a custom design. here is what i asked him to do:

Milled the sides off a classic rail so its smooth and flat, then mill the front so it imitates the design on a ULE body. in addition, the rail was ULE'd so its ultra light ;)

I've seen lots of older RT and emag rails go for around $50 in the BST forums. (I got a prestine splinter rail a few months ago for $70, for example.) Just be patient and keep looking.

I am going off to an enginnering school soon, and was thinking, ;) how hard would it be to use a CNC machine to do it your self? I dont know anything about CNC but probably would learn there. has anyone done this kind of thing before?
