Hello all,

Sorry for the urgent topic but..it's urgent.

I took the lvl 10 out of its package to install onto my classic valve but the largest carrier I could find is a 1 line 1 dot, it didnt come with 2 line.It is brand new, from actionvillage.
Should the 1 line 1 dot be ok or am I screwed?

What if the gun only gets up to say 260 fps? Do I install the longest spring to increase?
Vice versa( If its shooting too hot?)

On the level 7, when installing, you put the o ring first in the valve, then the brass cylinder piece on top of it?( This is a last resort if my lvl 10 fails horribly)

Thanks alot!

for your lvl X woes:
http://www.automags.org/resource/level10/index.shtml

and as to the incomplete kit i have a 4 line carrier (2 lines on top and bottum), so are you missing even more?

I would call av and tell them whats up.

Your LVL 10 kit should have come with 9 carriers:

0.0
0.5
1.0
1.5
2.0
2.5
3.0
3.5
4.0

The lines and dots are located both above and below thee black o-ring.

LVL 10 quick tuning:
Follow these steps in order.
1. Break in carrier o-ring with 1000 shots.
2. Move broken-in white o-ring to largest carrier that does not leak.
3. If bolt sticks on squeegy test, add shims until it resets reliably.
4. Chrono marker to field speed. (this is important, don't just do it by sound)
5. If gun breaks paint (test with no loader and make an electrical tape string for paintball to hang only halfway in breach) use a longer mainspring (on the contrary, if bolt continuously "LVL 10's" or "chuffs" use a shorter mainspring).
6. Profit.

Good luck tomorrow!

Thanks alot all.

I am apparently missing around 5 carriers for my lvl 10 bolt.
Luckily this is my backup and I also have a tac one that came with a full set so I found a 2 liner in there and hooked that one up.

Unfortunately it is snowing right now here in Mass. but Im going anyway, hopefully its not too bad.Wish me luck :)

Thanks again,Lidocaine

WOW. I ended up buying the same kit from Action Village too. Mine also only came with only 4 carriers. Have you contacted them about this yet??

The snow was horrible thanks for asking.Neither my Tac one or Classic mag worked..at all.
The owner hooked us up with a pair of rentals and we ripped it up, for one game. Then we cruised home.

I play at Fox4paintball.com is the site

CSALLEN-What is going on with this AV scammage, they must buy these things from the factory so are they taking them out or what??? I havent contacted them yet but by darn I will.I have two guns that both run lvl 10s, If they need to both run the 1 liner, I shouldnt have to throw in a .5 in it and choke up my gun..utter bs.

I guess a good deal is too good to be true (66 bucks brand new supposedly factory sealed)

Thanks

Tunamen is probably right. I ordered my new mag direct from AGD and my spare level 10 bolt package only came with carriers 0-1.5.

well I was just about to go crazy on the guys at action village, but good thing I saw this here. Anyone know where to get more carriers besides buying them through AGD? Or if you know of anyone who wants to get rid of their xtra ones, let me know.

You probably wont ever need the extra larger ones. I dont think I have ever come across a mag that has needed to use the bigger carriers.
