JT Spectra Flex 7 IZE

I know they arent made anymore and have become hard to find but i need some help. Im looking for a LNIB or NIB red IZE mask. If anyone knows of where i could get one thatd be great.

I searched for days for just a flex 7 and couldn't find anything...the one place I did find a flex 7 I ordered it, but they were out of stock so they upgraded me to a proflex for the same price. Anyway ...Your best bet is to keep a close eye on ebay and any forum b/s/t....that's really the only way you're gonna find one

A guy we play with just scored a blue one on ebay brand new for $40 ...so keep an eye out

I have a blue one that is well used but in ok condition. Brand new lense. Brand new strap. Looks like I found it somewhere and remade it.

looks like theres every color for sale somehwere still except red.

another possibility if you want the bottom red is geting a clear flex 7 and dying or plasti-diping it

Yeah, red is pretty much the only one i cant really find. Id do clear and dye it if i had any idea how and knew it would turn out ok.

EDIT: Does anyone know this websites email address (the one listed as having the masks). The website went down for maitenance last month but it says their email still works.

Tried w/o any luck at all. I found brown, blue, and green but thats it. I put up a WRB thread but thats about all i can do right now. Ill make a thread in the regular mask talk forum in a bit.

nooo ...believe me it's in pristine condition. I tear it down and clean it after every use. Only thing I had to change was the lense frame because the foam on the original is worn out. JT hasn't had any foam in stock for a year now :confused: so I had to upgrade to a newer lense frame

edit: Also I had to get a newer strap, I still have the original and it can be used, but it's slightly faded and stretched from all those years of use

The closest you can get to a Flex 7 now is the new "Flex Revolution", someone might argue the proflex but it leaves little ear protection. Maybe JT discontinued it because this mask was coming out?

Its more like a proflex than anything, and theres no way in hell ill get one of those newer masks since they look like ****. Thsi maks was discontinued a while back anyway.

Does it have to be the 7 IZE, or would you take a proflex?

My local store Central Ohio Paintball had the Proflex in red not too long ago. Online still lists blue, red, yello and black as options.

i know this doesnt completely help you, but i just found a flex 7 ize smoke color on amazon.com and grabbed it. there was more smoke, but there might be red as well, so its worth a check.

Dryden - A red proflex isnt anything like a red IZE at all.

devildog - Thanks but that doesnt help me much at all. Smoke, green, and blue are pretty easy to find. Its the other colors that arent so easy to get ahold of.

The IZE is sooo much nicer. I've had mine since 2000 (Blue so you don't wan't it). but considering that there was a link back there that had another blue IZE for sale I might just have to buy one because mine is starting to wear out and my mag is being annoed to match. Hot masks!!!

wicked - You can still find purple, blue, and gray BNIB online so no, they arent that hard to find.


If you guys would care to look on PBN theres a thread that covers all of the info on them. They were supposed to be JTs high end mask for tournament players. Turns out nobody liked them because the flew bottom was to soft (they made them softer for bounce) and caused the mask to smack you in the mouth if you got shot there. They arent a very popular mask by any means nor are they worth a ton of money.

There were 6 IZE colors released - Blue, Brown, Red, Green, Gray, and Purple.

The only go for a lot if you find a sucker to pay more than what they are worth. Ive been able to find every color fairly easily except for red.

Even if i do find one im not paying an arm and a leg for it. Ill pay a decent amount simply because id like one but theres no way im gonna go overboard. Ill just make a cusotm flex if i cant get what im looking for at a decent price. The red would just go good with my MacDev strap and team jersey.

I like the fact that their soft as can be on the bottom...I've never ever had a break on the bottom part of my mask..sure i've taken a few to the neck because of it, but hey if it doesn't break that means i'm still shootin people

I dont think its a problem either but it still effects things. A teammate of mine has one and last summer he took a few to the mouth because of how flexible they are.

ive had some nasy mouth hits from them. but the bounces are worth it when they do bounce

i've never taken any to the mouth yet, but many to the face and neck. Watch now that I said that i'll get hit there this weekend

I've had mine for 7 years and I've probably only had one hit my jaw a little bit but still didn't break. The only time I get paint in the mouth is from spray, and breaks on the nose... which splatters up under the plastics and is kind of hard to clean... In any event the ONLY reason I still use it, is because it bounces... well, damned near everything on the soft parts! My visor has also been known to wing otherwise well deserved head-shots into the air :ninja:

lol, you consider what i said a bash towards you? lol That wasnt even remotly mean. Seriously though, purple isnt that hard to find if you look around and this isnt a universal help me thread for anyone who wants to find something. Go ahead and do what ya need to now though, i found what i was looking for.
