Ok, Ive been threatening to do it and I finally have...... I am making.....an..... Ion :eek: I know, I know, I feel sooo dirty. No really, I saw the Element V1 frames and really like them. I guess there were only like 75 made, so out of the zillions of Ion's out there, that is pretty rare. Anywho..... So I found this one on the nation, yes I know, that made me feel dirty too. Pic:

I plan on puting one of the Deadly Wind Negative Ion bodies on top of it.

I think the combo will look sweet, and I know it's an Ion but it's not really that bad for what you get IMHO. What Im actually going to do is pick up one of the DW complete Negative Ions and swap out the parts I want, body, barrel, trigger, drop/asa, and put the strange body on top of the lowers and sell it off. I found this to be cheaper in the long run than just picking up the parts on their own. So if you are in the market for a brand new set of Ion lowers with a Strange body, freak back/front and a few inserts, you know where I am.

I really know nothing about Ion's but this one, for those of you that do, comes with:

I'm not sure if the negative ion comes with the hollowpoint bolt or not, but if it does Id keep it and sell off the firebolt.

Always wanted one of those negative bodies.....but I went the cheap route and made the plastic body bolt out back for the cost of one 10-32 screw. Wait what am I talking about? I dont own an ion.....its just a friends I swear! :ninja:

virtue/lucky both make eyes and boards. there are other boards ect.

really the only 2 things that can be upgraded on that gun would be a new breech and donut. which new designs makes both. infact the new designs breech is autococker threaded.

I sure hope you didnt overpay for that thing. Its a decent ion but you can get a loaded one for pretty cheap now.
