Back in the days we'd use Windex in a small traval srayer ...... then we'd water it down half windex & half water ...... then we've used soup & water & with a Cheese cloth , we'd wipe it clean & dry ...... What can be used with out damaging the antifog tinting on the inside gogle ? ...... is Cheese cloth still being used or is there a product out there just 4 that ? ...... Please , any help would be fantastic . :)

I just use a soft cloth and water ...imo water works best, simple and it won't damage anything. I just make sure I keep it out of the thermal lining

Microfiber cloths are so nice for cleaning lenses. You should be able to find them for dirt cheap at most discount stores.

I usually use a micro as well. they do a great job. sometime ill use a cleaner on the outside of the lens but with the thermo i dont know of a cleaner safe for the inside.

I carry a spray bottle for water, and toilet paper. To clean I just spray with the water to dilute the paint, then clean with the TP. I've found that spraying first makes sure that you avoid a thin film of paint on the lens.

Water is your best bet for a cleaner. It doesn't harm the lens and since paintballs are water soluable, It does a fine job (Its cheap too).

Depending on how much you play/what style I'd advise

Microfiber or other soft clothes for woodsball games.
Soft paper towles for speedball games because you are going to be cleaning you goggles/gun/self so often anyway it is the best way to avoid just pushing paint around

water to clean off paint/dirt. and scanner cleaner and scanner wipes to polish and help reduce fogging.

Plexus and microfiber for the outside, water and microfiber for the inside. Plexus is god's gift to paintball.

isopropyl + water and a microfiber. It has been the standard way to clean plastics for the last 50 years. If you're worried about your tint or anti-glare coatings, don't, manufacturers fixed those problems years ago. If you're still worried then go with a lighter 30/70 mix. I use a 50/50 mix and haven't had a problem for the last 20 years.

Keep in mind on the tinted thermals you don't want to use very much elbow greese when cleaning the inside of the lens...you can actually rub off the thermal goodness.

also, windex weakens the lenses, read your manual.

it depends. if i'm at a game i will clean the lense with my tounge. cleans it good, doesn't cause fogging. if i'm at home i get a damp cloth or paper towel and just wipe it up.

I just wipe my lens off with microfiber cloth, small towel, or toilet paper. I never spray anything on my lens, ever.

I use Plexus and soft dust free cloth

Don't use wood pulp based products like toilet paper or any form of paper towel. Over time, they will add a lot of feather-light swirly scratches on the surface and then you'll see nothing but lens flares after a while....

Like everyone has been saying: Water/plexus+microfiber= :D

I use a 50-50 mix of 70% isopropyl alcohol and water, wipe with microfiber. Works fine on my JT thermal lenses.
