Hello, I am new to this board, and new to automag ownership. I just bought a new Automag RT Pro for only 500.00 might I add!! Anyway, I have a 12V Viewloader that I will use with it, but my problem is finding the right CA tank for it. I want something that is on the cheaper side. I heard you have to regulate the air to b/t 650-800 going into the gun, I need something that will allow this, I also would like one that is reliable, and that I can get at least 400 shots off with, I know very little about these tanks so help on what is what would be nice too, like 48, 68, 88, 114, 3000, 4500 ect. thanks for your help, please let me know what would work best with this gun so I can buy it and start using the thing! i use a PMI preset at 850 imput pressure. Its 48cu 3000 psi. You can get approx 500-600 shots per fill. It's was about $85. I just wanted a cheap tank that would work. I have played with it for approx 6 months with no problem. My next tank will be a AGD Flatline 45 cu 4500 psi. These are much more expensive though...approx $350?
anyway, if your on a budget, a cheap preset will work fine until you can get some $$$ for a better adjustable tank, such as the AGD Flatlines. Hope this helps.

Welcome To AO, and the wonderfull world of MAGS!!!!!

Do you use that pre-set tank on a RT? Or the basic 68 automag? My buddy has the basic automag and it kicks butt with a preset tank. He never has problems. However I have read that the RT will not work that great, please let me know, I would love to get one and save $$ if it will work on a RT, thanks for your help, Jim

I have a PMI Preset 68/3000 on a retro valve, its preset at 850 psi, and "retro-activeness" works fine, however at higher settings, it will work even better.
