The Triumphant return of AO Chat!

Do you like AO and inane conversations with strangers?!? ME TOO, and for that reason I have decided to try and restart the AO chat which has probably been long forgotten. I as well as a bunch of other people were regulars in the old channel and they were pretty cool to talk to, even those who didn't like me were always nice and helpful whenever I had a paintball or automag related question and it was neat to talk to americans!

if you are using ubuntu 7.10, you might have pidgin installed automaticlly, you can use pidgin to chat in irc. just create a new account and choose irc as the protocol. put in the chat server info. from there click buddies>> join chat then choose IRC for account and then type in #automags into the channel box. it's that easy.

so i downloaded mIRC, and im in the room, i ever slapped jonah with a trout (of which he was kinda unhappy about) i saw what he typed, but i have yet to get any confirmation of if anyone can read what im typing. no-one is responding, am i doing something wrong? (first time EVER dealing with IRC)
