How necessary is it to have the silo to refill the pods?
thanks

From what I understand a force fed hopper works great to fill the pods.

Yep most of us use a force fed hopper with the reloading socket.

I use my B2 to do it, works fine.

I've been meaning to build a stand to set the B2 in to make loading easier. Probably just a small wooden plank with a wooden cradle to set the B2 in. I might do that over the summer, or make use of my art department's wood shop. hm..

any feeder will work, just hook it up to the reloading socket instead of the giant kdney thing

I use my old Viewloader instead of the Silo and I like it better.

yeps, silo not reguired, just allows you a 500rnd capacity to fill the q's, the required peice is the loading socket.

Personally i hooked up my egg to the loading socket. Much more consistant and reliable than trying to shake and fil from the silo. Like others have said, as long as you hook it up right (its really hard to hook it up wrong it would seem) any force fed hopper can work, and it will save you time and headache as well.

Nah, I use my V35 Halo to fill mine. No gaps and super speedy! :headbang:
