View Full Version : Looking for lightning automag ano?
Hi everyone
I am looking for example of any automag that have the lightning ano job done? Just for refence for my ano job.
Any other marker lightning job would work too, so far i only found one. I remember seeing an angel that have a really nice lightning ano job, but i couldn't find it any more.

just saw ur pbnation thread....A+ is the only anodizer I've seen do lighting.
i'm not sure if I've seen other types of lighting. I figure laser engraving would be another alternative for the lighting effect

It also goes by "thunderstruck" at A+ and is basically blue/black acid wash and the lightning hand masked. I was quoted around $500 for an xmag and only 1 barrel if I remember correctly.

That MicroMag was mine. In fact that's a picture I took for the sale when I sold it. I've had annodizers look at that thing for hours scratching their heads. It's a 7 color gradient lightning anno. I've never seen anything at all like it.
IF it's anno, it was a PK Selective job. There has been quite a bit of argument about whether it was anno or some other kind of finish since it was so complex. Back when PK Selective was doing paintball guns, they did offer a lightning anno, but it was some stupid price like $899.00.
The official Pro Team Products name for the finish was "Lightning", and there were only 6 made. Forest at PTP said that they were, "Highly sought after." :)
