Help me out here, its a 12 inch stainless steel with no markings on it whatsoever.

Yeah, my 3 year old camera phone doesn't take the best pictures :(

It's an old school SP Progressive barrel if i'm not mistaken. hard to find these days too.

Perhaps. I figured it looked a little SPish with the spiral porting and whatnot. My RT seems a bit picky about which barrel it will allow and out of the 4 that I have (12 inch DYE SS, 14 inch J&J 2 piece, a tiny *** Taso, and the one pictured in my OP) this one doesn't give me any fuss. I swear, that Taso will NOT go in my gun, and the J&J is a pain to remove.

its definately an old smartparts i had the same one on my mag back in the day. it wasnt the best barrel ive had, prob the reason you dont see many of em around anymore. but definately a blast from the past.

SP Progressive. Nice barrel, I've got the 14" version on my pneumag.

cool, cool. Hopefully once I get my 'mag shooting right I'll give all my barrels a nice test.

It's a Smart Stainless. I have one just like it. Has a large bore size. Shoots really nice too. :)

I am almost positive it is NOT a progressive. I am certain is it a SP stainless All american. in that era they had this really odd looking run of high end stainless AA's, and I believe that to be one of them.

You are correct sir. It is a SS All American.

i concur, that is a SP Stainless All American, from back in the day when people actually used stainless barrels.. i wonder if that thing weighs and less than my 14" DYE SS

It may be a couple pounds lighter, but not much...lol
