I personally would go with the ReTro 'Mag with Intelliframe, mainly because I'm not huge on electro triggers, and I ADORE my ReTro 'Mags short, crisp, reactive trigger. My suggestion, would try both, and see which you like best, your the only one that can really decide which 'marker is best for you.

Well, it is from 888paintball, so it might cost you $388 + a little trouble. But still, try out both, theyre two very different guns.

What do you mean by plus a little trouble?

He's trying to say that 888/800 Paintball messes up alot. I've ordered 4 times from them, and never had them mess up an order. They package most stuff great, and shipping time is awesome. Paintballgear has better prices(except on the Shocker).

I'm sure about everyone on this board will tell you to go for the retromag, but I'm gonna tell you to not blow off the best advice ever given on this forum: Try both before you buy either. Aside from the pros/cons of both, a huge factor is which gun you feel more comfortable shooting. If at all possible, try to rent or borrow them both and play with them if you can.

If i were you i would buy the shocker(maybe 2;)) and then sell it on ebay unopened for more that you got it for. Then get what you want.

Pretty risky XMetal, if most people would already know about the Shocker being less new STOREBOUGHT than "new" from someone on E-Bay... Personally, if I had to choose between new on E-Bay and new on 888paintball, I'd go 888. So what's to say he could even sell the guns at all?! Just my opinions.

Personally, I agree with the others who have said to try out both guns then decide. Shockers are nice guns, I'll give 'em that. And for that price... not bad guns at all. Mag's are also good guns, but it's all preference. Some people like to have their guns operate with a mouse click trigger. Others prefer not to rely on a computer to operate their gun, but rather good ol' internals and inginuity. Try them both, and choose which you would like.

(Personally, I like internals and inginuity, but that's just me:P)
