I know this is a mag forum and all but I just had to show her off. My new A1, I used her over the weekend when I dropped my tac-one in the woods and broke off the asa/drop forward. She is a serious piece of equipment, simply put I am amazed at what she can do.

Did you buy it spur of the moment?

Anyway I wish you best of luck, the A1 is (no offense) the most problematic of the angel line. I hope it works for you! Good luck!

I did buy it spur of the moment, I had no intentions on getting a new marker over the weekend. It was just there, hanging on the wall calling to me. I have always wanted an angel. Out of the box it has performed WAY better then my Tac-One (pre dropping it in the woods of course). My Tac will still be #1 go to for woodsball, but if I go out there and they put us on the speedball field, its A1 all the way. Im usually not very impulsive but for some reason I just had to have it.

Please define "dropped" for me. I have a really hard time visualizing a drop that results in breaking off the drop(forward). If by "drop" you mean off the top of a really tall building, or "drop" as in all your body weight on top of it while tumbling to the ground I could see it......

what I mean by "dropped" was I was running full speed, tripped on a log and my tac-one flew out of my hands smashing into the ground while I landed face first into the ground. The impact snapped the ASA that was connected to my drop forward clean off.

must be nice to be able to afford an A1 as an impulse buy...

out of all the newer electros I found the A1 to be the most confortable to hold. However I don't need a new electro I'll stick with my 06 intimidator...for now.

You are both wrong. That is a relatively easy shoop. I want video of the actual fall/drop. YouTube it or it didn't happen :D

if a tac-one falls and breaks in the woods and nobody hears it....did it really happen?

Sunjess,

That suxs about your tac-one, but it looks like you more than compensated. The A1 is a great gun no matter how many knocks you hear on it. I have shot many w/ no issues...light, tight, fast, and accurate.

I think the A1 is THE best electro out right now, once the mango internals come out your going to have a hard time choosing between the tac-1 and the A1 :P

Also I'm going to have to demand pictures from you

How much did you pay? Because I coulda sworn that replacment ASA's are cheaper than the A1....

625 on the A1 new in box...VERY hard to pass that up.

I replaced the ASA and drop on the Tac for 50 bucks...works like a champ again

I still stand by my assesment that A1 should have stayed on steak. :argh:
